Alapkövét 1764.május 31-én rakta le Balassa István kerületi esperes,melyben elhelyezésre került Loyolai Szent Ignác,Xavéri Szent Ferenc,Nepomuki Szent János,Szent Donát ereklyéje.
Építése 1768-ban fejeződött be.
A Sekrestyében kapott helyet a Verebi Végh család sírkamrája.
Búcsúja : a május 16-át követő első vasárnap.

Egy kisebb magaslaton áll ez a komáromi jezsuita rend által 1764 és 1768 között építtetett plébániatemplom. Építészeti szempontból késői barokk stílusú, a szentély bal oldali falán látható az egykori földesúr, Végh Ignác 1782-ben készített sírköve.
