Wonderful discovery. A paradise island, a beautiful hotel and above all outstanding service. Arriving late, in the middle of the night, and having a guaranteed transfer service is a real asset.
The kindness of the team, the availability of the manager, the sense of service, the kindness... to be recommended. Thank you for this magical moment.

My group stopped here just for a coffee. We stayed here for 5 hours relaxing, swimming and refreshing at beach bar. Prices are fair, staff is friendly. Beach is nice and clean. We'll come back again.

I didn't go into the hotel itself, we went there by boat. The food was very good, i had chicken skewers with absolutely amazing potato chips and grilled vegetables.
When going by boat like us, you can get 20% off for parking if you get dinner at the hotel and another 20% off for parking if you pay by cash.

Beautifull hotel, delicious food, cute staff and great service! Everything was just perfect for our staying on Krapanj and visiting surroundings. It's ideal gettaway from the city crowd, and yet just 5 min drive with a boat to the mainland!

Would like to say thank you to Nino and all the staff at Hotel Spongiola for going above and beyond in making our stay so wonderful. Beautiful location and views. Its a true hidden gem. Couldn't fault anything. Already looking forward to rebooking our stay for next year.

Perfect family hotel! Location is very nice, beach is in front of hotel. Very friendly and professional staff. Rooms are very clean. Food is amazing :) We will come again next summer!

Great location. Very friendly and helpful staff. We visited at the end of season and therefore the hotel was quiet but we really enjoyed our stay. Don't let the location being an island put you off. The hotel has a boat and takes less than 5 mins to get across the sea. Hotel is very clean and made our short break very enjoyable.

Small ferry from the maonlamd to Krapanj Island where the hotel is located. Excellent service and facilities. Breakfast included with great traditional Croatian dishes on the menu.

Nicest Hotel we have ever stayed at. Loved our time here and the staff couldn't do enough for us. Taxi boat available at any time to travel between island and main land.

We had a great experience at Hotel Spongiola in early September 2018. The hotel was spacious and relaxing but what made it really special were the staff who were very friendly. In particular I recall that Andrea had such a lovely way of helping us with anything we wanted ... always with a smile.

An amazing experience from the moment you ring the hotel to be picked up. 2 minutes later somebody helps you to park your car on the main land, helps you to carry your luggages to the hotel boat and after a short crossing you arrive on the beautiful island of Krapanj where you are greeted by a fantastic staff. The hotel was built on an old sponge factory in 2005 in respect of the island history and integrates a museum dedicated to the sponge harvesting. There are 200 official inhabitants on the island, the few who stay here all year round. Before 1960, Krapanj had up to 2000 inhabitants but most moved since to the mainland when the coastal road was built, People around are proud of this history and ready to share it with you.
The hotel offers a fantastic diving center in respect of this diving heritage. One diver of Krapanj holds the world record of apnée diving under ice.
Beach with bar, wellness center, indoor swimming pool, great restaurant,... All you need is here. Great stay.
An hour walk takes you around the island where you will appreciate a marvelous sun set or rise and beautiful views over the surrounding islands.
There are additional bars and restaurants on this car free island.
