Amazing food, pizza from the wood oven and very polite and straight forward staff. Outside was cold and inside warm and cozy. Open kitchen concept was spot on and shows how restaurant has nothing to hide and besides it was awesome to look at your food being prepared. All in all, I'm coming back!

Recommended for everyone who wants to eat delicious food.

Although we often come to Opatija, this was the first time we visited the Roko restaurant and I hope to come again soon👌

Visited Opatija In November. The place turned out to be one of the best around. We were lucky to get a table inside. Our order:
- Prawn risotto
- Calamari fritti
- Homemade bread with olives🫒
We got our food super fast. The waiters was really funny and kind and the food was amazing. we will definitely come back!

I was in Opatija for 12 days, we tested several restaurants but ended up choosing Roko as the best and the one we frequent most. Very kind service, all the wonderful dishes and pleasant atmosphere.

If I only have one recommendation to give, it would be to change the draft beer. Today they have Ožujsko. Please change to a better quality one, like Laško or Karlovačko. 🍻🍻

Delicious pasta and other meals, fresh and flavourful. It was a bit scary to see so many options on the menu but we really liked everything we ordered.
Friendly staff, nice interiors. Good wine selection.

I just cannot say enough positive things about them. Next time if i ever go there it would just be for the excellent food of this place. Everything was so fresh and tasty. Fish was exceptionally delicious. They speak excellent English and guide you through their menu and specialities. I can still taste their food while writing this. 😍🥰

Restaurant was super busy when we arrived which is always a good sign, but we managed to get last table. Food was superb and service excellent, some drinks however bit expensive(0,2l of lemonade for 4.5e)

We had a Beautiful table just inside in front of the cooks. Was fun to watch them prepare these amazing dishes for everyone.

I had the pumpkin soup, and Homemade formacia quattro ravioli and we shared a focassia bread which was really good. My husband had the special, which was a green pasta. He liked it, just didn't love it like I loved my pasta.

We also ordered some very good white local wine!

The service is amazing and friendly and the atmosphere so cute and cozy.

Very nice food with some flavor combinations that I haven't tried before. For starters I had local fresh cheese - grilled, with prosciutto and shrimps - delicious and something new for me. For the main course lamb chops in fig sauce - again creative and flavorful dish

Pizza in the wood-fired oven is my favourite. Very tasty. I would especially like to note the speed of cooking. Friendly stuff 😊 We came several times and were satisfied.

We took cold starter dish: beef carpaccio with truffles and rocket. For main dish we took beefsteak and Opatia serenade from bakers own ala chef. Meat was perfectly prepared as ordered and also serenade dish was amazing!
All food was delicious and full of flavor!
Maybe try to do the reservation to get free spot.
I will definitely return when I visit Opatija.

Edited and added: we went back next day to try some deserts. Cream brûlée is really good 5/5 and also cheesecake was delicious - 5/5!
Worth of trying!

This just might be my favorite restaurant in Europe. And I have been to almost every country here. The food is absolutely amazing and at reasonable prices too. The risotto is delicious and sonis everything else, but I would recommend you try it's just the simple bread that they make here with garlic and with herbs.

This place is wonderful! In three days we came here to eat twice, because of the delicious grilled fish and seafood. I can absolutely recommend the fish plate, together with the house wine.

Finally a place with decent vegetarian options - homemade pastas, pizzas and soups. Most of the places have seafood/meat in their dishes. One weird thing is that I didn't feel the taste of the truffle in the pasta.
BTW the bread with the herbs was amazing!!!

What can I say about them.. I have been trying this restaurant for so many years, every time that I come is just another amazing memories with the flavors, service is impeccable, food all fresh, good taste, pizza , bbq ribs, pasta all amazing. If you are around don’t miss this opportunity.

We just started our summer holidays and this was the first lunch we had. I am really afraid that no other place can beat this lunch experience. It was stunning! Everything was well made. The guy on the grill is a real master. He grills everything just on point.

Flavors were crazy with the pasta dish. Every bite is another dream. I would just travel all the way here to have the same lunch again.

Good house wine and fresh salads. This place is top quality!

Wonderful suprise. Small place with amazing food. Fish soup was probably best one in my life. Main course was very generous and yet delicious. Tiramisu at the end was perfect end of great meal. Thank you.

A very cozy place with impeccable service and delicious food. Ample and varied menu, excellent wines. Definitely worth a visit, although we found it a bit pricey.

Excellent food, pleasant service. Meals are really big, so order cautiously - we could not eat our meals. But a nice waiter packed remaining food for later. We will come again!
