Restaurant Feniks

Our second visit from Scotland this week. 1st visit in August we ordered traditional dishes which were delicious! Service excellent… very well looked after!
On our return 24/1 we ordered a platter to share & a kebab. Far too much food…. But we enjoyed and we finished every bit! After another day exploring Plitvice it was a perfect end to our day! The service is excellent, a double bus tour arrived when we were in & service didn’t waver. Well priced and we will return! Gorgeous doggy too!

We stopped on the way from plitvice lakes to Zagreb. We were a group of 6 very hungry people. We ordered 6 different dishes and shared it all. Everything was delicious, but especially try the suckling pig and the goulash. With plenty of food and drinks we spent 20 euro per person.

Wonderful place easy to reach from Korenica. You can find real local food and very good prices. We enjoyed our meals and we think it's the best restaurant we have found in Croatia until now. The soup was incredibly tasty and the gulash too. We also had roasted pork and it was awesome. The waitress was really nice and I suggest you to come if you want to try tipical food.

The cevapi was exactlly right with soft beautiful bread that absorbed all the tastes.

The best food I've had my whole trip around Europe hands down!! We had the goulash with gnocci and the 1kg pork with delicious potato's and a salad Hvala Puno ❤

The food and Feniks is simple but delicious, we had the mushroom soup, the grilled meat platter and the apple pie for dessert. We even managed to take the rest of dinner for the next day. It’s the perfect place to grab a quick bite if you’re in the Rastoke vicinity.

We visited this place a couple of times after our trip to Plitvička jezera. The place is absolutely huge (which likely makes it popular with large groups of tourists) and they have a wide selection of food and drinks. Having tried both the house specials and several traditional Balkan dishes, I can say that everything was delicious and well prepared. The service is fast and friendly, and they seem proficient enough in foreign languages to get by. It's a great stop after a long day of walking.

Super Nice waitress

One of the many iconic places by the old road, this is a truly old school restaurant. Here you can try many authentic specialties, and of course, the grilled lamb.
This time I tried the grilled trout and it was also delicious.
The waitresses (yes, they're all ladies!) are very kind and fast. The restaurant has an open terrace overlooking the road and the big parking in the front.

My woman, a local, brought us there and it was love at first bite. By far one of the better meals I've had in Croatia. On your way back from Plitvička must stop there. Order the house specialty lamb 🐑 dish. Go explore savore adore.

The restaurant is located at the main road from Slunj to the lakes. The food is really good at reasonable prices and a variety of dishes to chose from. They also offer some vegetarian dishes. The staff were very friendly and the food was served quickly and warm. Much better than expected and highly recommended!

Great local food and great options for kids as well! My daughter made me give this place a (well deserved) 5 star rating. She claims the Spaghetti Bolognese is the best she's ever had. If you aren't an 8 year old, I recommend the Cevapi instead!

Big portions, nice ambient. Staff is ok.
Only thing that could be better or bigger is the salat portion.
There is a big free parking in front of the restaurant.
The prices are ok.

We were on our way back from the Plitvicka Jezera park looking for somewhere scenic to grab a bite. We found this place open and decided to stop. There was an event going on with live music, but they were still open for general public. The food we ordered was delicious and fair. The hostess the served was spoke English and was really thoughtful. Recommend 100%.

A great spacious restaurant which also hosts different events with live music. Staff are extremely nice and there is a big parking lot in front. Its location makes it a perfect stop on your way to Plitvice lakes or seaside.

Expect to eat incredibly well and not move much after. 😋 If you're on your way to/from Plitvice National Park, stop off here, you won't regret it. Service is great, food is perfection and the atmosphere is very relaxing. I highly recommend this place!
