The Food is FANTASTIC! Homemade just like my grandmother's cooking. The portions are large, enough for two or take home for later. The scenery is fairytale-like.... The air clean and fresh - no city smog! Definitely worth the winding road trip to get there. ENJOY!!! 🤗

Amazing restaurant, especially when you dine outside next to the small vineyard. The quality price ratio is very good. And the service was fantastic

Elvin we love you ❤

My favourite croatian restaurant. You have to try their Pajcek na domači and zapečeni štrudli. Gemišt is a must and just enjoy splendind scenery!

There is indoor and outdoor seating, and you may wait a bit for the outdoor seating but not too long and it will be worth it as the food is really good and the views are lovely!

The service was quick and friendly!
Definitely worth visiting but perhaps call ahead if you're a larger party.

Even though the drive to the restaurant is a bit long once you get off the highway, the view and the ambient that greets you is well worth it. The restaurant serves local cuisine and excels at it. We've had a delicious roast duck and some great house wine. The pricing is affordable and good value for money. The staff was quick, polite, professional and engaging, making you feel truly welcome. After the meal, we've relaxed on the nearby recliners and took a short walk around the place. The only downside is they close fairly early and we cam in about an hour before closing time. They told us we can stay for as long as we want, thogugh, and we didn't feel rushed at all, but we'll get there earlier next time!

p.s. there are also cats

Delicious meals and large portions. Extremely kind and friendly staff. Reservations recommended especially on weekends. We were there during the winter and it was nice, but I believe it's even nicer in the summer when you can be outside and enjoy view. Special recommendation for ice cream with pumpkin oil.

Very tasty food and extremely kind staff. Fast service and warm authentic ambient. Near Veliki Tabor castle. Great views from the restaurant and lots of interesting things for the kids like models of castles and churches, animals etc. I would recommend this to my friends.

Visited with my spouse in the middle of the week. Almost empty, only a few guests. So, this was a real advantage. Restaurant is very popular, therefore very crowded, especially on weekends days. Beautiful sunny day, light warm wind, silent, excellent to enjoy on magnificent landscape and real, real amazing food. Young waitress very dedicated, friendly and nice. Food - first of all, real  huge portions, if you are hungry,  it's the real place for you. First, homemade consommé with also homemade noodles. Beautiful! Then, pork in honey and red  wine sauce, potatoes with vegetable. Beans salad with onion seasoned with pumpkin seeds oil (real authentic dish of Croatian Zagorje region). And finally, crown of the entire meal - pancakes with walnuts filling in wine shado (sweet, warm foam of egg yolks and white wine. It's probably one of the best desserts I've ever eaten in my life. Strongly recommended! Overall, one of the best Croatian restaurants with traditional, homemade food. Is there six stars options? No? So sorry...

Wonderful local restaurant with lots of charm, great service and delicious food! The restaurant has lots of tables outside with a wonderful view. Had the local cheese, salad, traditional pork roast and traditional veal roast with an apple strudel for dessert!! Everything was amazing, portions were large and the meal was very reasonably priced!

Very nice and cozy place, in the hearth of Zagorje. We sat on the terrace outside, and is absolutely amazing. Food was very delicious and tasty for that kind of cuisine, actually, it's the right traditional cuisine for that region. Totaly must try it, a lot of people coming here for lunch or dinner. And the portions are large, and it's not expensive! Recommended

Absolutely beautiful scenery and atmosphere. since it's on a small hill, you have great views over the surrounding area.

The service is a bit slow, but they more than make it up with their attitude and cheerfulness.

The food is delicious, homemade and the portions aren't small so you are sure to get your money's worth. I highly suggest getting their cold cuts as appetizer and pancakes for desert.

A two edged sword is the fact that you can park your car on the hill itself. More than once we were interrupted by a loud car trying to make it's way up the hill.

I will come again for sure!

Best domestic food I've ever tried. Quality is excellent. Also fun for kids due to various domestic animals around. Definently recommended.

Nice village restaurant in beautiful nature. We were eating between vineyards and some fruit trees. Food is domestiv and delicious. Serving is decent and kind. Place is full of interesting examples of tradition. If you want to come on weekend, you should call and make reservation before that.

If I could I would give even more stars, although I didn't discover the full potential of the place! :) Nature, the model of the villas and castles and many other things just before your reach Veliki Tabor. Very, very friendly staff, the owner with big heart and interest about the satisfaction of his customers. Amazingly big portions, you can see in the photo the one portion of štrukla is for one person for a reasonable price regarding that it has the best taste for Zagorje region! We will definitely come back because the night atmosphere also looks promising!

Astonishing view and exciting Urban legend. The restaurant serves good "slow food". The staff is friendly but not efficient. Definitely worth a visit.
