Guest House Lagotto's Peak

One of the best places to go with friends or family or just by yourself. I keep coming back for 6 years now.

Magical place in the heart of Zumberak nature park. Very nice accommodation with the most thoughtful host ever!
Must visit, if you need time out from the dirty and loud city.

My partner and I decided to escape Zagreb for the weekend. We were looking for a small, cosy place with beautiful views and nature on our doorstep.
That's how we found Lagotto's peak.
Our stay was so lovely, we had dinner prepared for us by our host who gave us a taste of fresh truffles.

Our room was very warm and comfortable. Even though the weather wasn't the best, it was a pleasure to stay home all day and hear the sound of the rain.

Would definitely recommend staying here if you want a place that's quiet.

A very unique place in the heart of nature. The owners are very kind and immediately make you feel welcomed. You can go truffle hunting at any time of the year but July and August is preferable since it's high season so you stand more chance to find something. The room is all wood inside with a fire place so gives a special feeling of cosiness. The dogs are super cute and energetic and very kind with visitors.

This cabin has exceeded my expectations. We were set in the "art room" which had authentic paintings on the wall, wood sculptures created by the host with the smell of freshly carved wood. It was quiet, clean and stylish. The common kitchen had an open terrace with a view of the mountains. The sights around the place are having trails for hiking and can get you to the mountain peak Trdinov Vrh at the border with Slovenia. The road to the cabin is great.

We enjoyed a few wonderful days at Lagotto's Peak with our dog. It is great to unwind and to relax (also at the pool), but also for activities like running, cycling and walking. We had great food- real specialties with truffles, and a very nice host who taught us a lot about truffles. The room was also great for us with our dog- enough space and it was quiet, which I appreciate very much. The truffle products are excellent and I can only recommend to try them if you get the chance!

Fantastic place. Especially for those who like nature and want to relax. Peace and quiet, just a very small village amidst forests and hills. Spectacular view from the room, nice swimming pool for hot summer days, interesting and pleasant room. Extremely friendly and helpful owners. Delicious food, especially truffles.

Excellent for all who love pure nature and Lagottos. For your dog there is no better place on earth. For you there is no comparable peaceful and untouched nature places like this on planet Earth. For all who like long walks, good food such as truffel cheese, home-made sausages and gandmoms bread it is a must go place. The rooms are confortable, the view is fantastic and your dog will love it as much as you will. I have been there a several time and I love it. I will go again and again.

I unexpectedly stayed here while doing some family history research in the nearby town. I met Borna there and he invited us to his bed and breakfast and treated us like family. It was truly a one of a kind experience and I can’t wait to go back. Such amazing views, he will take you truffle hunting and give you personalized service. I can’t say enough great things about the location and Borna and his father!! Worth the drive!

We had a lovely time here, because of the great hosts and fun dogs. The tours are great which they offer are also great! The accomodation is nice and the garden even better :)

Mi sono fermato a Lagotto's Peak con degli amici per una notte, durante un viaggio di più giorni. Il luogo è bellissimo e i gestori davvero gentili. Le camere sono belle e spaziose e la natura che circonda il cottage è fantastica. Lo consiglio davvero e spero di poterci tornare.

Was für eine tolle Unterkunft! Die Räume sind einfach ausgestattet, sauber und geschmackvoll. Der Garten und der Pool mit Aussicht ist schon den Besuch wert..Das Frühstücksrührei mit Trüffeln ist megalecker. Liegt echt abseits..:) Super geeignet für Menschen, die eher Ruhebedarf haben, nichts für Partypeople! Preiswert, extrem angenehme Gastgeber! Biker- und Radfahrerfreundlich, bewachter Parkplatz, aber da ist eh niemand!

Wir hatten eine super Zeit bei Borna und Dennis und können einen Urlaub mit Hund nur empfehlen. Auf der Terrasse und vom Zimmer hat man eine super Aussicht auf das Tal. Man kann viele schöne Wanderungen machen. Essen kann zusätzlich gebucht werden - und das ist super lecker.

Lagotto's peak è stata una tappa imperdibile del nostro viaggio. Speriamo di poterci tornare anche nel periodo invernale.
‌Entrambe le stanze sono arredate e pulite con cura e amore, gran parte dell'arredamento è realizzata a mano. Nella nostra camera c'era una stupenda stufa svedese. I bagni sono confortevoli e molto puliti. La cucina è attrezzata e completa di tutti gli utensili necessari, c'è anche un buon piano cottura con 2 piastre molto efficienti. C'è un'area piscina anch'essa molto pulita. Il giardino è molto grande, curato e ci sono alberi da frutto e cespugli di lamponi. Il relax è totale, a pochi km dalla città c'è un paradiso di silenzio! Il primo punto forte è la cordialità: raramente si trova tanta amicizia! Il proprietario è stato gentile, premuroso, molto disponibile. L'altro punto forte è la natura, ovviamente... La sera si possono avvistare cerbiatti che mangiano le mele del vicino, falchetti che volano nel pomeriggio. Uno si è posato sopra la quercia accanto alla camera. Sulla strade del ritorno abbiamo visto in pochi minuti cerbiatti, caprioli, lepri, volpi... Inoltre i cani diventano subito grandi amici dei bambini e la loro abilità nella ricerca dei tartufi renderà il vostro soggiorno indimenticabile! Straconsigliate le attività all'aperto proposte dalla guest house e i piatti al turtufo. Ricorderemo questo luogo con grande affetto :)

Izvrsna lokacija za sve koji vole prirodu, mir i tišinu.Veliko ograđeno dvorište za kućne ljubimce.Domaćini su jako susretljivi i ljubazni, a hrana za svaku pohvalu.Pravi odmor za dušu , vidimo se ponovno!

Izvrsna destinacija za odmor za one koji vole predivne šetnje prirodom bez gužve ili jednostavno uživati u pogledu s terase cijeli dan i sunčati se uz bazen nakon kupanja.Osim za ljude,ovo je raj i za pse-ogromno ograđeno dvorište i šuma sa planinskim potokom koji vas prati u šetnji,zajedno sa šumskim životinjicama.Ispred kuće sreli smo srnu😍
Domaćini su jako ljubazni, a smještaj je vrlo ugodan i unikatan.
