Bike Center Rabac

My family hired bikes from Bike Center Rabac for a 4 day bike tour on the Parenzana trail. Bike Center organised the bike fitting, and made all the customizations that we needed. They were helpful and friendly, and gave expert advice that made our holiday great fun.

Bike Center also transported the bikes and us to our starting point in Buje and picked us up in Porec, all for a very reasonable fee. Our driver Andrej was so cheerful and helpful, thanks so much!!

l love this place! Second time I've been back. First time I only had enough time for the "bike family trail". So.... This is like a French ski resort where greens are blues, blue runs should be red and red blacks and blacks are mental. The green "bike family trail" can be done by a family but with 45 degree banked turns and a one way system its really designed for very good riders to go down it very fast. The reds are very technical and could be dangerous if you're not experienced plus you'll need to be quite fit to get to some of them. Most of the easiest runs are in the woods which is great for all year round cycling but the harder ones are not; so doing those in summer wouldn't be so fun. The photos are of the babewatch run. It looks tame but it's anything but. The rocks are razor sharp and it's not forgiving. I absolutely love this place and would recommend it to anyone. You can hire very good bikes on site at very reasonable rates and as some are electric all fitness levels and technical abilities are catered for. Just be careful though some runs are very very very technically difficult.

But not the Family Trail. That's a smooth Rainbow down the woods! Also a nice little jump line in the skill section.

Great service, helpful staff and a lovely way to explore the area. We rented a bike and rode to labin and another day we rented a quad and went kayaking. Would highly recommend.

Thank you for our quad tour. It was perfect. We really enjoy it. Guide was very kind, friendly, everything explained. Also told us lot of interesting informations about places where we was. We recomend it for begginers in quads too. If we can, we will go again!

Optimum for children and beginners in the lower Trails and more experenced bikers in the stonetrails from the top of the Hill. .....with very nice views to the sea.

Great mountain bike park. Well built and equiped. Downside - very short tracks (late 2017)! Hopefully they are thinking about expansion of the park.

Now, in late 2019, I am reporting two years later after my first review. Bike Center Rabac has expanded, there are a few new trails, longer, some of them more challenging, there is a very nice family trail for easy family riding. Also, there are planning new trails, I hear. There is a bike shop with full mtb support (bike service, rent a bike, ... ).
It's very nice to come back to Rabac with mtb bike with all upgrades every year! Thumbs up!

Awesome experience renting bikes! We rented for 3 hours the first day and a full day the second day. Bikes were well maintained and staff was super friendly and helpful. We rented two adult bikes, one kid’s bike and a child seat (affixed to adult bike). Everything was safe and fun. Highly recommended.

The guys from the bike Center saved my holiday - the battery of my DI2 was empty and the charger at home. They helped me and charged. Surprisingly, they didn't take any money also no tip for coffee. To thank them I write these lines.

I've rented e-bikes for 3 days, and even had a chance to

switch bike at the end of the first day to one with bottle holder
tried another bike on second day
switched back to first bike as I liked the haibike e-mtb a lot more

Be aware: the team won't setup anything in terms of tire pressure and suspension system pressure, so either you do it yourself or double check in the shop. My first 20 minutes with the haibike was a big disappointment as tire pressure was way too high and suspension system was also setup to a different riding style.After one loop and setting up, the bike was quite great, although, the built trail is not for me, however, I had amazing fun making a 40 km loop around Labin/Rabac area.

The team will make sure you'll have a great experience, ask them anything! Highly recommended!

Staff are friendly and professional. The bikes are well looked after. They will adjust the bike to your needs. The trails are incredible. Nice choice of bikes. A variety of trails for all different level riders. Family friendly. I think the prices are very good. Especially when you consider the fact the bikes are 2019 models. I definitely recommend giving it a go!

Went on a guided e-mtb trip. Fun trails and descents with a local guide. Great experience. Highly recommended for mountainbikers.

You can choose many different types of bikes, e-bikes....There is also nice bike park above the shop. If you are in Istria and you love bikes this is a good place to visit.

Very nice and supportive team in the bike shop! The trails are great if you like rough enduro riding. Better take an emtb to do more than one or two decents. Best trails are standar to sea, espresso and babe watch (you should be an experienced rider for babe watch though). Scorpio is not worth it. (by the way: don't go to the tennis club for food, wasn't good at all...)

Great friendly service. This place has everything you need and of plenty of spare parts. Passed through on a bike tour and had some problems they helped me sort out. Two thumbs up!
