Ponte Porton

We love this restaurant. The service is welcoming, the decor and atmosphere is fantastic and the food is delicious. The location is perfect if you like to road ride into the hills and towns then finish with a long downhill leg back to Ponte Porton.

Great place to stay and enjoy local food. The best thing about this place are tasty vegan dishes which you cannot find very often in local restaurants. We had dinner and breakfast and enjoyed variety of food. Great food options for kids as well. The room in the hotel was very good, traditional design yet very modernly equipment. The owner and the staff are super nice and professional. We recommend this place to everyone.

The food is utterly delicious and the waiter is very kind, definitely a must visit! The truffle pasta was great and creamy, the rolled steak was crispy and lovely, and the salad is also great, the pistachio dessert is quite good.

We enjoyed a lovely dinner here. Delicious! The 2 guys who were serving dinner we also lovely. In the morning we had coffee and everybody was also very kind. Can’t wait recommend this place enough. Thanks for letting us stay in our camper in your car park!

Hotel: great! pretty and clean, with friendly staff, small rooms and artistic interior. The breakfast is huge and super tasty (in particular all cakes)
Restaurant: delicious! Authentic, creative, well balanced and with fresh ingredients. One of the best dishes of our trip! The service however forgot several orders, but let's just say it's been a bad day ;-)

Breakfast was perfect! So many choices, and everything was really tasty.

Our room 23 was also great. Really liked the design and all the details. I need to tell that everything was super clean.

Also important for us was that propery is pet friendly and there is so many small roads for great walks with our dog George.

We're coming back for sure! :)

Great plant based options! We had a tofu nugget salad, fried beans some quinoa, greens and so on. Nice staff and good location despite being near a busy road. Plant based in Croatia, wow! Recommend!

We stayed down the road and used Ponte Porton for breakfast (buffet menu of meats, cheeses, fruit, pastries etc) and lunch on the day we arrived. Food was really good (chicken nuggets and fries on the kids menu was a great option for our fussy youngest!) and the staff were very friendly. Staff speak great English as well. Thanks Ponte Porton!

I had a very pleasant night with few of my friends. Food was quite tasty and all flavours were perfectly balanced.
Interior is beautiful and the hosts were very approachable and professional.

Excellent food, extremely friendly service, very nice building and location. We passed by there on the way to Groznjan and a had stop for lunch. Waiter was extraordinarily friendly and helpful. Had a plate of truffle pasta, some original Istrian starters and some chicken for the kids. Everything was freshly prepared and tasted excellently. Price was also very fair. This is definitely a recommendation for a good meal. Will for sure eat there again if we pass by.

We had a great evening here with delicious food, perfect service an free overnight parking (camper van). The morning coffee was very good and the Konoba is lovely decorated. We will sure come back here whenever we are in this area.

Perfect location after visiting Groznjan or Motovun.

Very nice and quiet place. Everyone is so kind. Food and beverage selection is great.

A quiet and relaxing place to grab some coffee on the go. They have the little beepers to call for service, which is very praticical.
Ideal for cyclists and passengers. The place is very frequent and busy because of its location.
We didn't stay here, just grabbed some coffee.

The rooms are simple and clean. The breakfast is in form of a buffet and is great. The lady who owns the place is extra nice and is constantly making sure everybody is happy here.

There still is some minor space for improvements, namely the wi-fi signal is low in the rooms, the shared toilets were being cleaned 30 minutes before checkout preventing us from using it. It would be nice to have some nets in the windows to prevent mosquitoes from getting in.

Overall great. Highly recommended.
