Camping Podaca

We spent 3 wonderful days at the Campsite Podaca. Vesna and her husband are very kind and hospitable hosts. The facilities are very clean and they feel homely.
Vesna gave great tips on where we could ride our bikes and walk around the area. There is a limited space for larger motorhomes, so perhaps you should email them first. They quickly responded to my email.

💯 recommended! Absolute stunning views and the most friendly Croatian host ever! We wish we could have stayed longer! Crystal clear water at the beach with an incredible view of the Milky Way at night. I wanna come back next year!

Probably the nicest Camping Place I ever went to! The owners (family business) are very nice, friendly people, the prices are good, the sanitary facilities are clean, with lots of privacy, there is even a small communal kitchen and the location is perfect, with view over the sea. It’s very nice to have your tent between olive trees and figues. We loved it a lot and are happy to return soon! :)

Staying at Camping Podaca was the best experience last and this summer! Coming here again this year really gave us a chance to explore this part of Croatia even more. We are very happy to say that service here is truly the best one we experienced yet. Big thanks to Ana and her family for running this beautiful camp and everything they gave us! Really lovely small family run campsite. Friendly helpful service from mother and daughter team who run it. Access is tricky for big vehicles and nothing over 7m can fit in. Pitches are terraced on quite a steep slope. We're 6.7m and it was tight but once in we enjoyed the slightly quirky nature and intimate nature of the site. Beach (pebley) is at the bottom of the slope so easy Access. Highly recommended.

Ana and her family run an amazingly beautiful, comfortable, and hospitable campground. The family alone makes the stay worthwhile, but there is also the beach, the shade, the facilities, and just a very pleasant vibe. Great place to stay!!!

Nice and calm camp. Perfect for families with children. The owner gives the best recommendations about what to see. The beach is 50-200 meters from camping (depends on the tent location). Totally recommend

Fantastic campsite!! It’s not too big so it feels cozy, the pitches have enough shadow and of course a beautiful view over the sea and the bay. Good atmosphere! Super friendly owner, we arrived quite late but she managed to squeeze us in, which we really appreciated!! We hope to come back one day (and we’ll make a reservation for sure😉)

Good touring bicycle tent site. Must carry bike and panniers up some stairs. No RVs up in that dedicated terrace. Electric & water there just for tenters. Not expensive. Never full for cyclists. Peaceful experience overall.

Prime example for friendliness amd hospitality! We arrived here due to a misunderstanding on my side today and the owners let us stay even though the campsite is closed for two more weeks. They even offered us to turn on elictricity and open the sanitary facilities and apologized that the site is not perfectly clean and ready for the season yet. The place itself is simply beautiful between the olive trees with a stunning view of the ocean...

We can highly recommend to stay at the campingside. Everything is in great conditions and all the facilities are really clean. The campingground and the surrounding are super beautiful and the beach is right next door. The best thing about it is the owner though. She is really nice and helped us out a lot. We did have some problems with ants in our tent due to some holes but we could fix it thanks to some tape from the owner. She's such a lovely and caring woman who gave us a really warm welcome!

when we arrived the campingarea was already booked up but the woman at the service point was very polite and made it possible for us to set up our tent in a corner and that was perfect for us, we stayed right under a fig tree and had free figs every morning. the bathrooms and toilets are very clean and the staff is attentive to keep it clean. in the chillout area you can use an elecrtic stove to cook your own meal, that was a pleasure after traveling quite a long time without the option to cook on a stove. the area is right to the seaside where you can have a bath but beware to swim in the marked areas beacause there are alot of sea urchins everywhere or you can use goggles to avoid them :D when we hung up in the chill area the woman from the service desk offered us some selfmade chees bakery products (very delicious). only thing is, that the wifi is not the best but who cares when you are on vacation, right?

Very welcoming and committed hosts, the place is nice and clean.
The beach is very close and two restaurants are in walking distance right on the waterfront. We followed the host’s recommendation to have seafood at Restoran Bonaca and have enjoyed it as well.

We extended our stay to two nights to decelerate our roadtrip and can definitely recommend the place!

That's a lovely campsite with a beautiful view, 2 minutes walking distance from the sea. Bathrooms are very clean, there's an open kitchen, washing machine. Tax, water and electricity are included in the price which is quite ok. Camp is small, quiet - perfect for relax. Extremely nice staff speaking English and German and who knows what else ;) just let the poor turtle free!

Thank you Ana and Vesna we had such an amazing time. We loved the camp, everything was clean and we could rest well because it is a nice quiet place. We will sure come back again!!

Amazing.
Perfectly accessible in the centre of Podaca, yet secluded. It was surrounded by olive trees so peaceful place we all loved.
Personnel was lovely. They have met every single desire we had.
And the best of all, sea was less than 50 seconds away!!!
Just loved that place. We are certainly getting back again.

Quiet and calm campsite. Nice sites with enough space and shadow.Sanitary facilities are really clean all the time, and they are almost never crowded. Very nice, friendly and professional staff and a great restaurant near the camp. Beach is twenty metres distance from campsite. Quiet and lovely place, with plenty of space, nice common area with little details like soap and kettle that help a lot guests that only come with a tent. Every spot has water and electricity. Clean facilities, direct access to the beach. Lovely hosts and very reasonable prices. Good enough WiFi. Close to supermarket and restaurants. Highly recommended.

One of the best campsites I've been to. The hosts go above and beyond. The facilities are good and the beach is beautiful! Would highly recommend a visit!
