Hotel Bevanda - Relais & Chateaux

I really enjoyed my stay here, the view is amazing, the room was very comfortable and the bathtub with the access to the balcony is fantastic, so private, so bright and a real treat. Everything in this hotel is discreet, the volume of the background music is just right, the AC in the room is super quiet, the bedlinen is of superior quality. You will find everything you need in the room including a personal welcome note from the hotel manager. A perfect place for a romantic getaway or for a single person to explore beautiful Opatija. I hope to come back.

A beautiful bar right next to the sea, so you can hear the waves and the sea is reflected in your face. Cocktail ok, unfortunately we were limited not only by time, so we didn't have anything else.

It based just on the sea side with a great view. You almost seat on the sea.

The interior is nice and modern.
The service is brilliant with friendly attention and makes you feel so welcome.

Fabulous restaurant with nice seview, fine food, wine, atmosphere and helpful and very kind staff.

Just on the edge ..you feel like floating on the sea ⛵ incredible terrace and view, the bar is very modern and contemporary, a good place to listen to music and dance a little bit ... Full of design and good Champagnes 🥂

Excellent ambience, lot of space and tables. The food is excellent and the service is friendly and unobtrusive. Top for fish meals but quite high price (file parts cheaper).
A large selection of wine, cognac and my favorites sngle malt whisky.
Probably the best grill fish I ever eat.

The drinks were great, and the view was even better, the drinks are more expensive than elsewhere, but they are worth the price for the taste and view. For 3 drinks we paid 40€ with the tip

Perfect location, great food, super service. We ate fish consome, risotto with clams, green salad, grilled seabass. Malvazija wine was delicious.

I had lunch here with my family, and I'm happy to say that Bevanda is an excellent restaurant. Our waiter was extremely courteous and kind, he even entertained my half-siblings for a little while. Our orders arrived fast and the quality of our food was excellent. The desert I had here was the best I've ever tasted, and the accompanying white wine was of great quality.

I only had one small problem when I escorted my half-siblings back to the family car and a female staff member came up to me to ask when will we move the car. After I told her that we will be leaving in less than 5 minutes, she told me that the parking space was for hotel guests only, not restaurant guests. While that was true, my step-father made sure to ask for permission to park there when we entered the restaurant and the waiter told us it was no problem. Even though I told the staff member that I cannot move the car immediately because I'm not the chauffeur, she repeated in an unpleasant tone that we cannot park there. We would like to apologize for any kind of confusion we may have caused.

Beautiful beach bar and restaurant with great view and it has direct access to the sea. Recommend to book a bed day before, gets crowded quickly. Good drinks and meals, fair prices. For me one of the top in Opatia..

The perfect place for a relaxation. The staff was helpful, smiling all the time and they make you feel wellcome. I spent my vacation in a small double bedroom, which was quite spacious, with a big terrace and a perfect sea view. The cherry on top was the bath, with jets and a sea view. I really didn't wanna leave this place. I only ate breakfast, but it was the most delicious one ever. A small buffet table cause it's a small boutique hotel with only 10 rooms, but quite enough. A variety of food and they can make things like eggs or pancakes a la carte if you want. Oh and they serve real coffee, not from the machine. And that's very important for somwone who is addicted to it like I am. The location is ideal. Just minutes away from the centre, right next to a beautiful park and in a very quiet area (at least in winter). I think I have found my favorite "me time" place for ever.

There´s a wonderful chill area outside for cocktails and snacks. Great service, wonderful view. Just so relaxing to just sit, have a sip of coffee and bite of cheesecake while enjoying the view of Adriatic Sea.

Pamper yourself with amazing food and incredible sea view! I truly recommend this amazing place. Remember that life is too short to eat in bad restaurants. Go for fine dining. 💫👍

We stayed in Hotel Bevanda in Opatija from 27th Sept - 1st Oct for the 2nd leg of our honeymoon in Croatia.

The location is stunning. Situated right on the sea front with amazing views of the sea and the mountains, it was worth staying there for the view alone!

The room we stayed in was the James Joyce (room 7) which was a deluxe suite. It was really lovely. Spacious, very clean, modern, jacuzzi bath, huge shower, a lovely balcony with a sea view and a super king bed.

We stayed during the summer-winter cross over so when we arrived the air con had been switched off in all the rooms and the heating was on! It was 26 degrees outside so it was pretty hot in the room. We got a fan from reception to get us through the first night but the second day that we were there we spoke to reception and they switched the air con back on again which made a big difference to our stay.

The staff were all very friendly and as there were only 10 rooms there, they were also very attentive.

Breakfast was included and was very good. A mixture of fresh fruit, cereals, cold meats, pastries, crepes, eggs (which could be ordered from a menu - incl omelettes) and fresh orange juice and other bottled juices.

Next to the hotel are beach bar/restaurants  and lots of deck chairs/parasols (there is a charge I think but we never saw anyone). There isn’t a beach as such but there are quite a few stairs which take you down to the sea. It’s frikkin freezing (20c to be exact) when we went but there are loads of fish and you soon adjust so it’s definitely worth taking goggles or a snorkel with you.

There are plenty of places to eat and everywhere we went was lovely. Prices varied a lot but most 2 course meals for the two of us with drinks were around 400-500 approx £50-£60 so not cheap but definitely not mega pricey.

If you want to avoid the hills associated with most walks in Croatia, we did a 10km walk along the sea front. It’s called Lungomare and it’s a coastal walk which is 12km end to end. We did about half of it and could have done more... the views are stunning and there are restaurants to stop off along the way and taxi boats dotted along the route in case you don’t want to walk back.

Overall, would definitely recommend the Bevanda and Opatija for a relaxed holiday.

Lovely bar and the views are fantastic. We went at the end of season when it is still warm but a lot less people. Staff friendly and attentive. Will be going back

Very beautiful sea view, nice lounge music and - here is fanfare - soja milc for Cappuccino. This is the first Caffe with soja milk in Croatia I saw in last 4 days.
