Gonar Restaurant

One the of best restaurants i have been to! 👌👍👍 The food was so good we forgot to take a picture. They have new deserts every now and then. And i really recommend you ask about waiter's advice on what they think is the best choice for your preferences. 👌😉
The left picture is from kumquat, yogurt with biscuits and strawberries (a bit sour and sweet)
On the right there is a pear with poured chocolate sauce with crushed walnuts and a sort of honey like "marlenka" (like a honeycomb/crunchy with a taste of honey) with a vanillia ice cream.
Both are amazing, I recommend you try both (take different and share to see that all of them are special). I hope you find this comment useful! 👌

Dining here you will have a beautiful sea view, amazing service and the most delicious food with good quality on Rab. The waiters have good manners, good recommendations of dishes, and will explain a dish to you if wanted. I rarely had such good service at a restaurant. Their deserts are beautifully prepared, so that it is eye pleasing too (in general all dishes). If you are looking for good quality of fish, sea food as well as meat dishes, followed up by yummy deserts, with breathtaking sea view together with flora and fauna, this is the place! The place has a amazing view, the food was delicious and the staff made it a very good experience. They know how to take care of their guests. We had the slow cooked lamb dish for 10 people with a very good price.

We ordered the octopus & made our reservation the day prior "with help from the captain of the Sardina". The food was to die for!!! The service first class and the restaurant was very authentic. Highly recommended. Prices were very reasonable.

The restaurant's staff is fenomenal, the food is delicious, the views are beautiful. The place is dog friendly if you would like to bring your companion. 5+ stars without a shadow of a doubt!

I’m a crazy gourmet, and very picky for good food and service. We find one of the best restaurant in Croatia in Rab, Supetarska Draga. The menu is excellent, you can find Peka variations and truffles with pasta and scampi with caviar. You can come to Gonar restaurant with your boat or car and enjoy the best selection of food and a very proffesional and friendly staff here. I cannot mention other place like this. We had been visited many times and never disappointed. Lovely place for families and boating crews too. We had diner here yesterday with our two kids. We saw the good reviews online and this restaurant was on our “Must visit list” while travelling to Rab.
The view is stunning, especially during a sunset. The staff is super friendly and professional. Our kids loved the waiters who are all very kind.
One of them gave us some local wine advice and recommended us the best wine we had in a long time. The food was also amazing and we could tell that the ingredients are all fresh. They did a very good job balancing out all the flavours.
We will definitely come back! Thanks again for the amazing evening.

Fantastic local food, fresh fish, scampi, lobster, also meat dishes. And this combined with sea view and a great sunset. This is for sure a place to have a great dinner.

Stunning location with a great view on the sea and fresh and homemade food. The Olive oil and the liquors are also homemade and taste delicious.
What is very special about this place is the service. Exceptionally friendly, humorous and with an eye for detail (we were served by Nemanja). Absolutely great hosts, you feel very welcome here.

I am always searching for price-performance options and could say that this restaurant offers the best ratio on the island. We ate tuna stake and it was delicious. The ambient was amazing and romantic because of the small lights. If we could visited it at the time of a sunset, it would be even better :) Also the staff is really nice and welcoming, we even got rakia shoot on a house after we paied the bill. I would highly recommend it. Thanks a lot.

Beautiful Site, perfect view directly on the ocean, also very high quality food, fresh seafood and lots of specials, i recommend the grilled dishes from the firepots! Absolute must visit if you stay around the supetarska draga region.

We were waiting for the dishes more than used to, but everything was freshmade and delicious.
