Didin Konak

First MANDATORY recommendation that I make and that you must follow to the letter!!! Bring mosquito repellent.

Because this place is surrounded by rivers and lakes, there are lots of mosquitoes during the day and it can be extremely uncomfortable for you.

Outside of that it is a location outside the city and close to the Javna Ustanova Park Prirode Kopački Rit - Prijemni Centar.

We had a brilliant time and ate delicious food. We got the recommended fish paprikas and it was delicious (for those who like fish). Lovely staff too. We got bibs with our meal which was amazing :D

Fantastic fish paprika with pasta, bacon and cheese. Good local white wine and yummy palacinke to finish. All at an excellent price and served with panache. Thank you!

Very cozy and welcoming place. The rooms are small but have a balcony. You have to walk to the restaurant from the hotel, but the paved surroundings guide you to it. All rooms have air conditioning and each room has its own bathroom with shower. The parking is available nearby on two sides of the premises and is large enough for all guests.

We only came here to eat, so I can't tell you anything about the rooms. The restaurant has a fabulous outdoor area with a huge playground and some very nice decor. If the weather is nice, it's the perfect place to bring young kids to. Ours disappeared as soon as we arrived, made an appearance when the food was served and then were off again and we didn't see them until it was time to leave. I would have paid good money for that alone. As for the food, I absolutely recommend the chicken ragu soup, everyone in our party raved about it and the kids asked for two refills. I was very happy to find not one, but several vegetarian dishes on the menu. Can't remember which one I chose but it was great. The meat-eaters were very pleased with the meat plate for two, it was really huge and had a little bit of everything. We were very happy with our waiter, he had that oldschool combo of being very professional and yet cracking jokes like we were old friends. All in all we had a great time and recommend Didin Konak very warmly.

We arrived on busy Sunday and had been served pretty fast, although It was day prior holiday which means restaurant was full of guests. We ordered popular fish dish (fiš paprikaš) which is 45HRK (6€) per person, and half liter of beer is 15HRK (2€). If you order for 2 persons you would get big pot which will be enough for 3 persons. Fish dish was delicious, meat was tender, pasta was cooked just as I like, and prices are reasonable. I am writong this after I slept all of that, so with whole honest heart I, very much, recommend you to visit this place, which is only 300 meters located from Kopacki rit Nature park. btw. I am sorry to read post from Mario who says staff was slow, but not only in our case as well other guest which happened to be there didn't complaint and they all have been served quickly and politely.

Perfect food, great country ambient, kid friendly place. River fish that they make is better then mediterian. They deserve five stars with quality and quantity

Excellent service with amazing fresh water fish menu. Fast service and great ambient. Highly recommend, the meat menu looks comparably delicious.

Always a pleasure to stay here, rooms are small and basic, but who wants to spend time there when you can be out having fun and eating like kings.

Very nice place to eat and stay. Food is very good. Unfortunately we didn't taste the wine even if there is a cave. Apartments and rooms are available.

Awesome local cuisine. I recommend their plate for the starter and I have tried rolled veal with potatoes. Will come back for sure.

Great food. I think the best perkelt that I've tried. Raslje so so. Not too big portions. Just enough. Don't miss the basement.
