Green Lakes House

It's absolutely spotless, and very well maintained. The room was comfortable, and very quiet at night. The torte served with breakfast is home made and delicious. There was a good selection of food (and plenty of it!) served at breakfast. Definitely worth staying here when visiting the Plitvice lakes.

Great little bed and breakfast very close to both entrances. Everything is new and super clean, comfy bed. Breakfast was delicious and you can make sandwiches for lunch in the park (they have aluminum foil to wrap them up!). Highly recommend!

I highly recommend this place.
We stayed here when visiting Plitvice National Park for two days. Rooms are very comfortable and clean. Felt like we were the first one using it 🙂
For us the breakfast was not included, but it was really good and priceworthy - I recommend as well.
The owner gave us a recommendation for for dinner next door at the Rustic Lodge, which also is a great place with genuine food and excellent -warm and friendly- service.
Everyone at Green Lakes and the Rustic Lodge made us feel very welcomed and did their best to give us a very pleasent stay.

The perfect place to rest after a day hiking the Plitvice National Park. The owner greeted us warmly when we arrived. Our room was very comfortable and very clean. He gave us a wonderful recommendation for for dinner next door at the Rustic Lodge.

Fantastic place and a pure recommendation.
Lovely owners with a fantastic attitude towards their guests. Yes their English isn't from Oxford but their heart is from the right place. Great and included breakfast. Free and enough parking in front of the house - which is less than 5 minutes away from the park entrance. WLAN also included and working 24/7. Price value at its finest as the place comes clean clean (no typing error), modern and well taken care of.
If you ask me for something not too good here it would be the noise level (from the street and the non-soundproofed doors) - still it's quite there and we enjoyed our stay. Maybe a few toys in the beautiful garden would be great for kids as well.
Thank you and keep your place on this high level. We will make sure all of our friends come here!

Amazing place. We really recommend. The rooms look recently renovated, with fridge and AC. The house keepers are trully gems! Really simpathethics! Provide you all the necessary explanations about the park and even encourage you to make sandwiches with breakfast leaftovers. They even have aluminium foil available. Breakfast is also worthwhile.

Green Lakes is a perfect place to stay while visiting the lakes.
The rooms are very new, well furnished, and very clean!
The breakfast is also delicious and worth the money.
The manager is very helpful and accommodating.
Oh, and the WiFi is fast.

One week ago, 4 of us were lucky to have chosen Green Lakes House to stay overnight whilst we visited the magnificent Plitvice Lakes. Our host welcomed us, showed us to our clean, well appointed, warm rooms ( it was 0 degrees with snow laying in patches from the morning snow) Our host recommended a local restaurant to eat at, which was good. Our breakfast was excellent. All 4 of us agreed we would certainly recommend Green Lakes friends to our friends and family.

The bad is AMAZING! The sheets are super comfortable, the room is recently renewed in super clean. We had a great stay! The manager is also very nice! We definitely will come back

Great place for visiting Plitvice Lakes! The entrance is about 30min walking from the house - I would recommend walking since parking in the national park entrance is costly, while you can leave your car for free at Green Lakes house. The owner was very helpful and kind, he recommended great places to eat nearby. The breakfast was prepared by the owners and was very good - warm dishes, home-made cakes, yoghurts, sandwiches, juice - everything you need to start the day.
I can absolutely recomend and I hope to be back!
Only issue - there is no kettle in the room.

Located close to the entrance of Plitvice national park, late checkin in hours available, room was clean and the breakfast was excellent. They even provided some foil so that we could enjoy what we couldnt eat of the breakfast for lunch.

Fabulous accommodation. With a group of 6. Ilijia and his wife lovely friendly hosts. Rooms spacious and well furnished. En-suite great and the best shower. Breakfast was next level. Great coffee, cereal, breads, omelette, yoghurt, meat and cheeses and a cake. Close to the Lakes which Ilijia drove us to as we had no transport. I would highly recommend Green Lakes.

Far away from entrance 2 of plitvice lake, walked 30mins through driving road. House is great, host is nice and send me to the park entrance, thanks.
