Serbian Monastery Krka

Very interesting history of the monastery and its beautiful buildings and grounds. Well worth a visit.

We visited the Monastery as part of our tour of the Krka National Park and it was an amazing experience; we learned about the church, about religion and the catacombs. The guide who explained was well-informed and patient.

Excellent old orthodox monastery by Krka river.

We visited this wonderful place on a sunny and hot day in July. Came by car and parked just in front of the gate. The gentleman gave us very interesting tour. We were allowed to fire a candle. Interesting place full of history. Very educational trip for adults and children.

Active monastery with ancient crypt (with bones from BC times, small chapel with gorgeous walls and ceiling paintings. Very informational tour.

This was the first stop for our Krka national park tour, and boy what a tour it was. Timing was off season so we basically had the pleasure to be alone for a walk around the site and then came back and had a pleasure from a local employee that took as on a tour and presented the history and specifics of the Manistir.

Beautiful monastery on amazing place. From medieval times. Monastery is inside national park, but can be visited free of charge (if lucky)

Very nice monastery. It has preserved religious and spirit. People there are very friendly and viling to explain everything. The monastery is a bit small, but it smells and look ancient. Very powerful feeling even for someone who is not orthodox. They have very beautifull property with lots of greenery and very nice dock on Krka river. Must visit!

Very worth the effort to make it out to the Church. As a Christian it is so cool to see the oldest church in Dalmatia and learn the history of how it survived. It's also incredibly encouraging to see the bones catacombs where the Church gathered to pray together (not just at home alone, though it would have been safer). Excellent walking paths surround the property as well.

Orthodox monastery from 17th century and church from 14th century. Very interesting and peacefuol place worth to be visited. Guides will tell you everything about history of monastery and church. Take a walk to the river. Water in front of the monastery is drinkable.

A lot of history, very peacefull place. Surroundings are one of a kind, close to the fresh water of river Krka. Worth to visit for every second spent here.
