Hotel Lemongarden

this stay was perfection. we were upgraded to a maisonette for our honeymoon trip. the room was lovely and spacious. the bathroom was lovely too with Dyson tools and very luxurious feel. the gardens, pool and communal areas very well kept and the staff attentive. the breakfast was so nice on the sea front which we enjoyed every morning. we rented a mini for the day to explore the island and would recommend this service. the only negative we found was a lack of options for vegetarian/pescatarian for dinner and would have loved to see more variety and options on the menu.

We had a great time there. We really enjoyed spending time in the garden area. Small and cozy Sutivan offers much more than just an experience, tho it depends on you. However if you're more high valued type of person you need to visit this place. Food is excellent, service as well. Rooms are adorable. You have everything you need and you'll feel like you're royal, so come and experience the magic for yourself.

Can't imagine how anyone could rate this lower than 5 stars. Every member of the staff is friendly and goes above and beyond for the guests. The hotel itself is stunningly beautiful, from the rooms to the pool/garden area and the private beach. One of those places you already want to go back to when you are still there.

This hotel is so utterly special. I’m currently resting on a sun lounger by the pool, sipping on a lemongarden spritz (made from their own lemons, naturally) and contemplating how on earth they managed to get every single element of luxury perfectly right? We’ll start with the location. The hotel consists of 4 protected and beautifully-renovated old buildings, in cream-coloured stone with beautiful shutters. It sits on a quiet bay in the sleepy fishing village of Sutivan. Just a 10-minute bike ride from the hotel is the private beach, where you can swim in the clear (but rocky) waters and have a barbecue for lunch.
The hotel gardens feature jasmine-covered walls, 20(ish) lemon trees and countless hibiscus plants surrounding the stainless steel pool. As I lie beside it, little birds swoop down to drink and large dragonflies hover around. The hotel cat, Carlo, minces by, likely in search of a shady spot. He is well-loved in the hotel and can be spotted conked-out in various spots. This cat knows how to live.
The rooms are colourful and eclectic, with very beautiful furniture. We had a fantastic sea-view suite with a terrace - an upgrade that was much appreciated.
Breakfast is out of this world. You sit by the water that is so still and clear you can see shoals of fish swim by. If you throw a bit of bread in the water, it causes a feeding frenzy. I felt like a kid again!
Bread and pastries are baked on-site, and all food is served in a fine-dining style.
We mentioned it was my husband’s birthday and were surprised with prosecco and a cake.
The staff mentioned that they have an 80% return rate, and we can see why.
3 nights was perfect for us, and we can’t wait to come back next year. No question about it!

The best hotel I've ever been to by a million miles. Modern and clean in a traditional and authentic medieval seaside town. So beautiful. Above and beyond amazing service and amenities (bakery, bikes, spa, gym, restaurant, bar, coffee shop). Every single staff member seems invested in your experience. Never feels crowded even though it's fully booked. Made us feel like we were the only guests. True concierge service - very responsive and helpful in planning activities and meals. Adults only is a plus. Option for two adjoining rooms to have shared entry and terrace. Please note, there is not much to do inside the town of Sutivan besides public beaches and the hotel-related things, so renting a car to explore the island (or taking ferry to Split) is recommended.

Hotel Lemongarden is a rare gem on a rare gem of an island. The rooms and grounds are breathtaking-- you need to pinch yourself to believe the pool and garden are real and you are really there! Rooms are luxurious and beautifully furnished- fun and colorful. The food is delicious -- and they are happy to accommodate any dietary adaptations, even making things from scratch as needed. Everyone there is friendly, full of smiles and ready to help. They arranged for mountain bike rentals for us so we could ride the many car free bike trails on the island. The list just goes on and on!! Sutivan may not get as much press as other towns like Bol but it was our favorite town, charming and beautiful with plenty of restaurants and coves if you can tear yourself away from the paradise that is Hotel Lemongarden.

We stayed here for a few days at the end of our honeymoon and it was excellent. The location is perfect - right by the harbor, easy walking distance to restaurants and bars and the service was friendly and attentive. The rooms were beautiful but the best bit was the gardens and the pool which are exceptional and designed to give you privacy. The boat to the airport on the way back was well worth it.

We spent the last two days of our honeymoon in this hotel. We got an upgrade free of charge to a luxury apartment. The rooms are gorgeous. We loved the design. The cleaning service is excellent. The staff at the reception went above and beyond to help with any wishes we had. The breakfast was delicious: Fresh, self-made bread and tasty egg dishes. The dinner was always great. However, the dinner options are very much meat and fish centered. The hotel is at a quiet harbour. The private beach is very beautiful with a view towards the mountains behind Split. We loved and admired the beautiful garden with a pool, flowers and vegetables. The spa small, but very nicely designed. We loved this hotel so much that we decided to come back in May 2020.

This is one of the best hotels I have ever been to. It felt like paradise to me. Very quiet and beautiful location, spacious rooms, super friendly personal, and excellent food. There is a wonderful salt-water pool in the gorgeous garden. A free shuttle service takes you to the hotel beach, which is about 2 km far away, or you can take the free bikes. There is plenty of space everywhere and it does not feel crowded at all. This is the perfect place to relax and enjoy life to the fullest.

Absolutely wonderful experience here for our honeymoon. The staff could not possible be more accommodating and pleasant. The beach and pool areas are wonderful, and the restaurant (both breakfast and dinner) is superb.

This was one of the most memorable hotel experiences we had. Very romantic and relaxing for our honeymoon. Also rented bikes and went mountain biking which was beautiful. The private beach is like something out of a movie. The staff was amazing all around and so was their food! We will be back!

Fantastic property with super friendly staff, incredible gardens and greenery, delicious breakfast and beautiful location. The beach is located off property but easy to get to and nice setting including hammocks.

Unusual boutique hotel situated right on the small harbour in quiet Croatian seaside village of Sutivan. Austrian owner has bought and transformed a group of old houses and a large garden into a 5 star oasis. Fantastic gardens surround modern 20+metre pool. Service excellent - friendly and proactive. Private beach with bar/restaurant a couple of kilometres away reached by chauffeured golf buggy or complementary bicycles from rent a bike next door. Spa with sauna and steam room available for private reservation free of charge. Huge breakfast waiter service on tables in front overlooking quayside. We will be back!

Excellent hotel on the quay in the lovely Sutivan on Brac Island. Staff from reception to room maids all very helpful. Waiters remember your preferences and nothing to much trouble. Enjoyed 7 nights with good restaurants in the immediate area. No iron or tea/coffee facilities in rooms.

This restaurant is expensive but you get hedonistic experience of true fine dining. The staff is professional and very polite and food and setting is real deal. You for sure get what are you paying.

Fantastic hotel in a beautiful setting with brilliant staff. Food was delicious, the private beach a great place to visit, arriving by private boat saved lots of time and was so much fun!

Wonderful hotel! Fabulous food! I had sushi there it was super fresh and they have great rolls too. This hotel is made with love and care. Just outstanding on every level!
