Matošin Winery

Had an absolutely incredible afternoon at the winery — one of the highlights of our trip in Croatia. The owner took the time to explain to us all the wines, the history of the vineyard, and even showed us the cellar. Will be back next time I’m near Split!

Great experience visiting this winery. We were looking to do a wine tasting in Croatia and via Google we found this remote winery. When we arrived we were welcomed by the owner. We did a 3 red wine tasting together with sparkling red wine Pet Nat and got a lot of information about the wines and wine making in general from the owner. You could really tell he is passionate about making wine. Would really advice this place!

Fantastic wines which can be enjoyed on their terrace where amazing views of hills and the Adriatic. This is a lovely winery we were excited to find. We loved their wine and look forward to drinking them at home :).

Simply one of the best experiences here in Split. We drove over the hills and through the stony countryside to find this gem of a place! Beautiful vista, wonderful host(Evo) and some delicious authentic old school family wine! Worth renting a car and seeking the Matosin Winery out!

Great casual experience trying fantastic babic wines. The owner and host offered us a plate of delicious local bread and cheese, and took the time to explain each wine and answer questions., show us the wine cellar, and share about Croatian wines.

Definitely out of the way to find, but an authentic, family-run winery that will not disappoint. Amazing view tops it off!

Very nice place, tasty wines

It was our first visit in any winery. We are happy that this one was our first choice.
Beautiful remote place, extremely peaceful and charming.
The owner was very polite and talked us through the whole process of wine making.
We had a wine tasting with a cheese plate after which we just had to by our favorite bottles of wine.
The whole place is fresh, just starting to operate.
I wish to come back there in few years and see it developed ;)

We felt like grabbing a bottle of local wine "on the way" and found ourselves spending a whole afternoon with the lovely owner.

This is a single grape winery, but tasting the produce of different years is a great learning experience. Such big differences from small changes to the process and of course the plants age and climate factors.

I higly recommend a visit here.
