Hotel Draga di Lovrana

This hotel has such a good aura about it. The staff, including the manager, Dragan, go out of their way to make you feel special. They serve the most exquisite food, yet the staff are not snubby. The rooms are in line with the hotel's rustic theme. This is a hidden gem. You won't find a better service anywhere in Istria. Can't wait to visit again, so many great small touches.

Yes, the view is great, and the food is spectacular! But, put that aside for a second, because the greatest thing about this place is its staff. They were truly wonderful, one of the warmest and nicest people we have met in a long time. It is people like this that truly bring the value and joy to the whole experience. Although we were here for only one day, we will treasure this memory for a long, long time, and we are coming back as soon as possible.
* Eat the srimp. Definitely eat the shrimp.

The restaurant merits its Michelin star. Splendid 5-course menu coupled with great wines. On top of that, the staff was very polite and helping. Finally, the view provides a final touch. 10/10, we will return

We have stayed in the hotel several times, it is literally our to-go place in Croatia. Rooms are very cozy, clean, comfortable:)

Food in the restaurant- it is something out of this world! You simply have to try it! The best tasting menu with a paired wines is a perfect addition to your day. Staff is very friendly and professional. They know their way around the menu, very accommodative and polite.

We had small dog, and it was allowed to go with him to the restaurant:)

Lovely place. Its isolated and rather exclusive. The rooms are modern and well-appointed. The service is attentive and excellent. The view is amazing both from the room and the terrace.

One warning: don't assume that the food is cheap since you are in Croatia: this is a michelin standard restaurant and the price for fairly ordinary ordering came to more than the cost of the room.

That said, the evening meal and breakfast were excellent.

For my girlfriend's birthday I invited her to a vegan dinner. It was very tasty and we got many culinary delicacies prepared. The journey from Opatija is a bit difficult and there are only few parking spaces. The view is very good. The staff speaks very good English and German. Unfortunately it rained, so we sat inside. With pleasure again.

Such a beautiful hideaway! Just 10 rooms, super service and great pool with a sea view. We’ll definitely come back!

Very friendly guy helped us find a marina nearby (for our parents) when we called to make reservations at the restaurant. Because off the curvy road up (bit of a challenge for our campers motor), the amazing view and the dog friendly hotel, we decided to book a room and stay the night. The girl at the reception was also very nice and professional. We arrived hungry but didn't want to eat too much because of the restaurant reservation so the kitchen fixed a light meal. The room is nice. We had a great 7 course dinner (you can choose between 5, 7 or 9). The guy at the breakfast was really welcoming and last but not least, the pool and it's amazing view!

The restaurant is the best you will find, the tasting menu with wine paring is a great experience. I have visited this restaurant number of times since 2019, every time the food has been amazing and in 2021 even more amazing!

Great stay! great service and nice breakfast with a spectacular view. We also dine at the 1 star m restaurant and was a great experience as well! We stayed to do a short stop before heading to dalmatia, very relaxing space with great swimming pool.

The 5 course tasting menu was amazing, the prices are totally fine for this service and the quality of the food.

Accommodation is ok. Maybe little bit outdated but that's the magic of it. However we did not came for room décor but to try seasonal Michelin star menu. We had like 12 courses. They were spectacular. All but one. Stake plate was bad. Don't get me wrong all ingrediencies were prepared great but they did not fit together. Stake was overpowered by caramelized carrot and some sour souse (like whey) was pretty bad. Despite that little hick up, every thing else was spot on. Perfect. I will definitely come next year on new seasonal menu.

Although my visit to Draga di Lovrana started with a misunderstanding regarding the room booking, the problem was solved quickly, with the highest level of professionalism.
Staying in this hotel was magic; we enjoyed the fantastic location of the pool and the restaurant, but the excellent food, "travarica" and friendly staff as well.
The rooms could be better, from beds to shower (unfortunately made for small/medium size people), but everything else was good, so these details marked by a spoiled guest like myself do not count as significant flaws.

We were there summer 2019 and had a splendid experience! There were not that many guests in the restaurant and service was excellent. Very good food and wine tasing menu fitting very well with each other.

The most beautiful view of Kvarner, restaurant with Michellin star, chef Deni Srdoč-virtuso in the kitchen, excellent service and wine selection. Comfortable hotel rooms , suit app with private sauna and jacuzzi. ...Heaven on earth!

Place with an amazing view. Great food, probably the most tasty beef you can try ever. Portion are a bit smaller than usual. Definitely recommend it!
