Waterfall Butori

Great waterfall to visit and you could go down to the bottom. Not a lot of water flowing but enough to make the visit enjoyable

Highly recommend visiting this stunning waterfall. I visited on winter and it was gushing. Looks like in summer you can swim. There is also a rope swing. Free parking, enough for a few cars, right on site. The waterfall is a 2 minute walk from the parking. Ne careful entering, it was slippery and muddy. Can even walk behind the waterfall.

We were here yesterday (5 august 2023) and it was not dry. The rain that fell the day before was enough to make it visible.

Beautiful waterfall in the middle of nowhere. Two paths lead to the main entrance (there is a fence all around).
The waterfall is about 6-7 meters high, and sometimes can also go dry. You need to be very careful when you go down because it can get slippery when wet. It's also deep enough to take a swim.
The car can be parked near the waterfall, there is place for about 5-6 vehicles.

When I went, there was hardly anyone there. Just myself and the wife. Was driving by and saw a sign that said waterfall. Had to pull over and check it out. Really gorgeous place. Definitly worth the check out.

Very nice surprise on our day of driving around inland Istria! Definitely worthy of the slight detour.
It's a brief stop. Cute waterfall, short walk down, few photos, nothing much else to do.

Amazing waterfall near the road. You can even get under the waterfall.

Fascinating. The good part isn't the waterfall, it's how the water gets out after There's no stream after the waterfall. It's just big hole at the bottom that the water falls into underground. Who knows where that leads to. Wouldn't want to fall into it and find out

Just an amazing nature gem in the heart of Istria. Watch for the road signs so you don't miss it. The green door can be opened so you can go all the way down to a little lake where the waterfall drops and if you are brave enough, you can reach the cave with a second little waterfall.

If you are a nature freak, you can see different ants and spiders here, even the beautiful labyrinth spider as well as wonderful artist's bracket mushrooms close to the cave.

Big surprise! Looks nothing until you go in and down. Lovely waterfall is entirely below surrounding ground level. Path down is steep and there is evidence of fallen rocks. See where the water disapears into the underlying limestone channels.
