Jadrolinija - Sumartin-Makarska Ferry

Cheapest and fastest way to reach Brač Island from Makarska. I bought the tickets online. Once arrived on the area, there are 2 or 3 queues wher you put the car, waiting to be boarded. Very good organised, we didn't have any issues.

Nice ferry. It takes about 50 minutes to get from Makarska to Brac. If you are taking car, motocycle or bicycle, make sure to book online, otherwise there might not be a free space on the boat. Online tickets does not need to be printed, mobile ticket works fine.

Small boat. There is a small office to buy tickets at. Seemed like a very slow process as the agent checks all car documentation. Don’t know why, as they don’t do that at the Split station. Line took 20 minutes to sell about 10 tickets. Better than swimming across.

If you don’t get on the 3:30 out of Sumartin, you have to head back to Supetar and hope to get on a ferry there.

Sumartin - Makarska return trip cost around 10€. The ferry is just ok, there is a bar inside also you can buy a snack there. The ride is about 45 minutes and it is good experience.

No lines, great view, smooth ride and plenty of seats in the shade

Everything went smooth only one big TIP: Reserve your car slot as early as possible. Some tourists tried to get a spot 2-3h prior and had no luck. If you know your time or can plan it, reserve online!

Scary. Hardly no space to park but they arrange perfectly. Do buy a ticket in advance. Otherwise you might end up waiting for hours.

Comfort like in plane, sometimes you can be sick of storm and big waves.

On time, so don't be late. Drink and snacks on board. Toilet was missing the seat, but I didn't expect too much from them given it is not an expensive fare

It's a small car ferry. MAKE SURE YOU BOOK AHEAD (online). If you arrive ad-hoc, you may not get on with your car due to space issues (there is space for about 30) cars/vehicles. Plenty of space if you are only on foot. 50minute crossing was pleasant and uneventful. Some nice photo oops from the ferry if interested...

Very professional. Better to take the ferry to Sumartin than to Supertar. Buy the ticket in advance!

It is comfortable way to get to the island with your car, but you have to buy tickets in advance. There is a small caffe available.
