Kanu Gacka

When we arrived Eva briefed us about the safety procedure and we had time to go to the bathroom prior. We were given life vests and a oar each. Then we were guided to the canoe where Eva and her husband gave us a practical demo of how to row the canoe properly. It was our first time so we were going zig zag, she was so kind to offer us help on board, accompanying us for the entire journey assuring us safety. The river water was clear, calm and peaceful with many ducks and a few swans.

After the experience we interacted with the cute goats on the way back. She then offered us home made wild berries juice and liquor. It was very tasty and refreshing. The price for a 4 seater canoe for an hour was 27 EUR. The price for a 2 or 3 seater for an hour was 20 EUR. It was very reasonable. Highly recommended experience. Thank you very much Eva for your very kind hospitality!

Realy nice and beautiful way to get familiar with Likas beauty, by going kanuing on Gacka river. Gacka is clear and must see river, and way not by paddling. Owner was really nice and welcoming, and she ownes goats, must pet them. Must visit.

A very nice team that welcomes you individually, clean and maintained equipment, complete and precise explanations, and unlimited kindness. In short, go there with your eyes closed. The bonus, a refreshing homemade drink offered.

Kind and helpful hosts, pure nature, cold and refreshing river of Gacka and amazing canoeing on the river! Location is on the way to the seaside what makes it a perfect for stopping by and resting in the nature.

Darko (the owner) is such an incredibly friendly person. We called in mid-april to see if we could rent a canoe. They were officially closed until May but they opened nonetheless. Then the weather turned and we couldn't go, but it was really nice meeting the family. Will definitely go here again next time I'm in the area.

Fantastic place, The owners Darko and Iva are exceptionally nice and kind. The place is just a bit further up the road from the kayak rental place but I think kanu is more comfortable. We were a family of 5 and rented a 4 seater and a 2 seater and a lot of fun and hilarity was had, once we mastered the best way to stop going zig-zag . The river is amazing, very cold even in the summer heat but the teens decided to jump in at the end. The nature is beautiful, we saw lot of water birds, frogs, fish, livestock on the fields, the hive of life and the kids drunk lots of river water as it is apparently drinkable and were fine. It was the best way to spend a hot summer afternoon so highly recommended!

Great experience! Not only is Gacka a simply beautiful place to visit and canoe through, but Kanu Gacka made it absolutely perfect with their hospitality, kindness and professionalism. Highly recommended!

Today we rented a two seater kanu at kanu gacka, which was a very nice experience. The river is very beautiful with crystal clear water. The owner explained everything very well in English and was very helpfull and hospitable. It was a very nice experience and I will recommend this.

Vrlo lijep i jedinstven doživljaj na rijeci Gackoj. Organizatori su bili vrlo ljubazni i sve nam detaljno objasnili. Vožnja je trajala 2 sata. Vidjeli smo patke, pačiće i labudove, neki su čak plivali uz nas. Rijeka Gacka je prekrasna, mirna i vrlo čista. Uživali smo svi, naše dijete najviše. Nažalost, nismo vidjeli koze na kraju. Možda drugi put. 🙂

Domaćini su predivni mladi ljudi,detaljno su nam sve objasnili i iako nam je bio prvi put osjećali smo se sigurno. Priroda je čarobna ,dvoje djece od 10 godina su bila zapanjeni prizorom. Preporuka svakom. Ostali smo u potpunosti suhi u 19h navečer,Gacka 12 stupnjeva c

Preporučamo svima! Gazde su zanimljivi mladi Ličani. 😁 Strpljivo nam sve objasnili, pokazali tehniku i čak zaplovili kanuom usporedno s nama da svladamo početni strah i nesigurnost pošto nikada nismo veslali. Vidimo se iduće godine.

Super leuk in een kajak van goede kwaliteit. Erg goed ontvangen en goede uitleg gekregen. Wij hadden een 4 persoons kajak en hebben heerlijk twee uur kunnen varen. Bij de prijs zitten ook de reddingsvesten en een ton om je spullen droog te houden. Bij terugkomst kregen we ook nog is hele lekkere zelfgemaakte limonade. Leuk uitje om met kinderen te doen omdat de rivier redelijk rustig is. Wij waren met drie kinderen van 9,8 en 4 jaar oud.

Predivan je doživljaj Gacke na ovakav način. Vrlo susretljivi i ljubazni vlasnici, stoje na raspolaganju za sve što je potrebno. Tople preporuke svima!
