Very lovely and nice place to stay and enjoy very tasty food. Surplus when owner Paolo take his "fisarmonika triestina" (classic triest accordion) to make traditional atmosphere.

We made a reservation by email & they were expecting us when we arrived. We were impressed by their Covid-safe procedures including wearing masks in the kitchen & restaurant, wearing gloves to shave truffles, and thoroughly disinfecting the menus. Five spaced out tables (so make a reservation!!). Do not visit without trying the cheese & truffle starter...incredible. Homemade wine, gnocchi, apple cake, & polenta were amazing. The highlight was the live accordion music. I know we’ll always remember this evening. I hope to return one day. Lovely owners!! Such a warm experience.

I’ll write this in English. Best place for local and regional cuisine. Ask for the goulash with gnocchi with truffles. The owner actually interacts with visitors and lives to make the night as awesome as possible. We had a great time and were in a large group. It has WiFi as well. As I'm writing this, there is a group of Italians from Trieste having dinner singing regional music. Come and experience local cuisine and you might be fortunate enough to sing or just listen to locals enjoying life.

After reading all the lovely reviews We just had to pay a visit. Nadja was great at getting back to me quickly via email regarding reservations and also accommodating to last minute change of timing. Lovely drive from Porec up through the hills to this village. Paulo is very friendly. Almost immediately served lovely bread. We had cheese with truffle which went down very fast and was delicious. Had the pasta and gnocchi with of course truffle which was lovely. You can tell it’s all homemade and fresh. Just perfect. They whipped up a cheese pasta for our 2 year old without any fuss as well and didn’t charge. Dessert was a strudel like thing which could have benefited from a dollop of cream or ice cream. Also they don’t take CARDS! Only cash. Which we didn’t know. So we were a little bit short of cash but Paulo just waived it (with a smile). To top it off he played the accordion and sang several songs (no idea what he was saying) but it added to the charm and authenticity of the meal. Very fun with everyone in the restaurant smiling and tapping their feet and my daughters getting up to do some twirls. Highly recommend even though it is off the beaten track. 👍🏼

It's a very nice place, food is excellent and authentic, host is brilliant. Shortly, everything is perfect and worth of re-arrival. See you again!

Tartufi enthusiasts will love it. Simple meals like pasta or polenta with lot's of tartufi. Mene is not big, and food preparation simple to keep the tartufi taste unchanged. Open only on weekends​, be sure to make reservation.
