Went there for dinner only after seeing the reviews. Fantastic food and location, great views, tranquil and very romantic in a tiny village on top of the hills. Dinner menu changes daily with local ingredients. Mussels and steak with truffles were superb! Best dinner of our stay. Portions are huge (split a starter and main if you are smaller eaters) This is a hidden gem. Very friendly staff. Would be a great place to stay if you are looking for a quiet setting.

Villa Stephanija is a little bit of paradise in Istria. It's location offers a breathtaking view and our stay will live on in our hearts forever. We were welcomed into the Villa Stephanija family and instantly felt relaxed and at home. The facilities are of exceptional quality and offer elegant, luxurious comfort.
So many thoughtful touches ensure that peaceful relaxation is guaranteed. Breakfast was a daily delight and we cannot recommend highly enough the evening meals in the restaurant. A different daily menu offering authentic local food served with a smile.
By far the gem of this beautiful Villa is Duska...her passion, hospitality, infectious laugh, attention to detail and gratitude for the opportunity to share her home and dream with us are exceptional.

Our stay at Villa Stefanija was exceptionally beautiful. First of all, of course, it is the breathtaking view from the pool terrace, from which you just can not tear yourself away. But also the warmth and friendliness of the staff make you feel at home from the first moment. We were perfectly taken care of the whole time.
The clean rooms are furnished with a lot of love and definitely live up to the attribute "boutique hotel".
Breakfast was served at the table on the picturesque terrace, so no "battle at the buffet", which we appreciated very much. For dinner, the kitchen prepared a menu with a few variations for starters and main course, all always highly recommended. The wine list should also leave nothing to be desired.
In short, definitely one of the best hotels that we enjoyed on our trip through Croatia, and which we certainly recommend.

The service, food and wine was excellent. Home baked bread, served by a really nice and mindful waiter. The view is wonderful.

What a relaxing, beautiful stay at the family-owned and run Hotel Villa Stefanija. We visited in August 2019 and spent most of our time lounging by their breathtaking pool. Dinner at the restaurant while watching the sun sink down behind the horizon was a highlight of our trip. The staff is kind and they were all extremely helpful.

Want to enjoy some luxury while being pampered, enjoy a breathtaking and peaceful setting, while enjoying incredible dinners prepared by a local chef, and being made to feel like you are part of the family? Then this is the place you need to stay. This family-owned villa anticipates your every need in a most relaxed and beautiful setting. We’ve spent three days here and I wish we had a week. This place is special for many reasons. If you are looking for a getaway, to enjoy some peace and quiet with beautiful views and accommodations, look no further. This place has the most spectacular view in Istra, an infinity pool, delicious food and just 30 minutes from truffle hunts, wine vineyards and tasting rooms, olive oil farms, gorgeous hill towns and Rovinj. Enjoy being spoiled but the beauty and the villa hostess, Pushka. And the restaurant in the evening will prepare some of the most amazing dinners. The rooms are beautifully appointed and our room has a balcony and a private deck. At night we’ve enjoyed sitting outside and seeing the stars. Coming to Istra? Make a stop here. You will be glad you did.

Villa Stefanija is an amazing place in every sense of the word. The view is one of the most breathtaking you’ll ever see. The food is worthy of a Michelin star and Duska’s sympathy and joyful mood makes you feel right at home.

Good accommodation, great host, and exquisite food. We had beef carpatio and pasta with sea food. Those were Michelin star quality meals. Fig desert was really really good, but I'm biased here as figs are my personal favorite.

Peaceful and beatifull place. We stayed for 10 days enjoing the view, great infinity pool, fantastic hospitality of the owner and the whole personel. Chef is the master !!! Every dinner was was a great journey. Duska (the Owner) is so warm and helpfull person that we felt like home. We will come back for sure !!!

An authentic paradise! The best hotel you can stay if you visit Istria peninsula. Very calm, relaxing and incredible views. The Owner is very friendly and gave us all the commodities she can during our stay. Not too far from Pula airport, it's a MUST!. I will repeat for sure :)

Exceptional views, quiet and nice. Feeling of luxury when you sit down and are served a fantastic breakfast along with this view, or dinner which was also very good.
