Ivan Restaurant

We chose this restaurant because it had the same name as my husband. We were not disappointed! Although we were slightly awkward when we arrived because we were tired and weren't sure where to sit, the atmosphere was friendly and vibrant, with a gorgeous view, and the food was delicious! We left absolutely full and happy, having had the cavapcici, calamari, apple strudel, and several cocktails. Our only regret is that my husband didn't get to meet the other Ivan whom the restaurant is named after! We'll just have to come back another time. 😊

We couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Ivan and all his team were very attentive and the food was excellent on all occasions we visited. When we return to Cavtat we will certainly be coming back to dine here again.

First of all food was great, we had some exquisite mussels and a great time. Second and most importantly Ivan is such a good guy, funny intelligent and handsome, I even got the pleasure to take a picture with him and I’ll save it forever

Absolutely amazing. Me and my partner went twice during our holiday (we could of gone every night!) Everyone is so friendly and the food is delicious, as well as reasonably priced. You get given a complimentary pear liquor at the end of your meal which we started mixing with sprite, we loved it so much we brought a bottle to take home.

This restaurant truly represents all that is wonderful about Cavtat dining. Not only is the food delicious with fresh-caught seafood, but the service is exceptional. A special thank-you to Uri, a server who cannot do enough to ensure you are satisfied and well looked after. When you come to Ivans, expect old-world values and a lovely atmosphere.

Very popular restaurant for tourists and locals. Lovely location, and staff are first class in friendliness and professionalism. The food is excellent, fresh produce, freshly cooked. Family establishment worth visiting.

Lovely family run restaurant. Michael who served us was very attentive and friendly. His mother's dessert recipes were to die for. The chocolate cake was magnificent. It goes without saying that the seafood here is fresh and very tasty. Great place.

The quiet and relaxing place with good view to the fishing boats. The sea food was well prepared and the beer cold!

Exactly on the spot, great view to the small harbor, smiley and friendly service, great food which not only tastes good but also is very pleasant for the eye. Everything was served fast and with a smile. Thank you for your food and pleasurable experience!

The food is fresh and tasty. The meat platter for 2 people is good value with lots of meat for the hungry traveler.

We were welcomed in by the staff and seated quickly. Having already read the menu outside, we knew just what we wanted.
We shared the fish platter. It was beautifully presented on a long platter. Prawns, Baby Squid, Calamari, Sea Bass Sword fish( and more), Mussels and side of boiled potatoes. We finished the lot! Stuffed but very satisfied, loads of flavour with a distinctive flavour between each piece. Washed down with a refreshing G&T. The desserts looked equally impressive however we had no room left lol. All this for under £60 makes it a bargain for me. Highly recommend.

A really great restaurant at the seaside, with amazing food and service. The staff is very polite and professional. Food - 5*, we had the fried calamari, pasta with shrimp and tuna steak - everything was perfect. And the prices are really fair.

Went for dinner with no reservation Wednesday night and there were plenty of tables for 2 available at 8pm. Ordered mussels, grilled fish, and stuffed squid. The server was very friendly and the food was delicious.

We ate there several times, always good local food and excellent service. Atmosphere much nicer when compering to restaurants in the noisy and expensive Cavtat harbor.

Amazing! Food is FANTASTIC. The view and the service is top notch. One of the best meals we had is here! Definitely recommend and big thumbs up.
