Hotel Croatia Cavtat

Just returned from a fabulous week in Cavtat at the Croatia Hotel. Our room was on the 7th floor with a balcony overlooking the sea and was clean and very spacious. Waking up to the sound of the sea every day was wonderful. The facilities are extensive and excellent. We loved the pools and enjoyed the sauna and steam room. Towels and sun beds are available by the pools and the area is kept immaculate. I used the hotel gym quite a lot and it could have done with a few more free weights and floor mats but there’s enough to keep ticking over with. There are beautiful runs around the harbour and headlands and a million steps to climb if you want a change.
Food in the restaurant was varied and interesting. A bit school dinner- ie at times but fresh and nicely cooked.
Overall a wonderful hotel with helpful, polite staff. I would return tomorrow if it were possible!

We stayed here for 8 nights and had a great holiday. From checking in to checking out the service was excellent
We were half board the restaurant was buffet style and the food was very good and the team were excellent very friendly and helpful.
The pool area indoor and outdoor was lovely plenty of sunbeds available and free towels were available.
There were a couple of bars open (more in the peak season) again we couldn't fault the service
Our room was very nice and had everything we needed. Rooms were serviced daily and everything replenished. Nightly a chocolate was delivered whilst at dinner and was a lovely treat.
We were out most days to get down to the harbour side there were a series of steps approx 130 but weather permitting they used electric buggies to ferry anyone who didn't want / could make the 130 steps up/down.
As we went in April so out of season some parts of the hotel were not open but I can't say it detracted from our stay here.

Without a doubt one of the most beautiful hotels I've ever had the pleasure to stay at. The staff are delightful, the location is stunning and I will definitely be returning.

This is a fantastic hotel, spotless clean, plentiful and friendly staff, cracking buffet available, indoor and outdoor swimming pools and a free buggy to and from the hotel down to the harbour side. Wonderful 👍

Lovely staff. Helpful at all times. Huge hotel❗We were fortunate weatherwise, 22-26°most days. Walked every day. Used indoor pool and sauna facilities which had lovely views to the outside. Food was good and we were on half board. Eating times exceptionally good re people coming into or leaving hotel. Our room had a lovely view over the sea from a good sized balcony. Could be useful to have a little more drawer space since the drawers at bedside and dressing table were very shallow. A 3 drawer dresser would easily fit into our room. Tea/coffee making facility most welcome in our room and is always a great item to have available. Would recommend this hotel and would return again.

The Hotel Croatia in Cavtat was a great place to stay and enjoy the beauty of Croatia. The hotel is big but sits nestled in the wooded hills along the cost around the bay from Cavtat harbour. The rooms were modern and stylish and always very clean. The hotel had some great facilities including a spa. We enjoyed sun bathing and swimming off the pontoon by the harbour, swimming with the fish and watching the super yachts come and go. A short walk around the bay brings you into Cavtat with lots of shops and restaurants. There is a lovely wooded circular walk around the peninsula which we enjoyed most days. There are also places to sit and swim on the sea facing side of the hotel, perched on the cliffs you can walk down the steps to the sea and enjoy the sunset!

It is quite hilly and a bit of a trek from the hotel to the harbour side.

Most beautiful venue, warm, friendly staff, and an overall good experience.
With the sea front, only a short walk away and airport a 7 minute drive, you can't really ask for more.

Beautiful hotel and location. Nothing is too much trouble, the staff are gracious and helpful. The hotel is big - 489 rooms, but the common areas are so spacious that it feels calm and serene at all times, even mealtimes. Plenty of food choices, even for the fussiest eaters. The bar prices are expensive, but look at your surroundings, and the amazing views. The only negative I can find is that if you are half-board, you can get 20% discount in the steak house and I wouldn't bother. The taste of the steak was great, but it was tough and chewy. Not poor cooking, poor cuts of meat, I fear.

I honestly could not fault this beautiful Cavtat resort Hotel. 25 minutes from Dubrovnic Airport Highlights for me were the salt water swimming pools and the private local bay for swimming

To unwind a massage treat was exquisite

My stay was back in September ‘22 for the IPMA World Conference and keep checking it out for opportunities to return

Loved this hotel, it was a bit confusing at first to find the pool & beach but once you get your bearings it's fine. It's a bit a walk & lots of steps down to the town but there's a buggy in case your mobility is not great or just feel lazy but it's good exercise after all the food & drink. I would highly recommend staying there just for the views, it's stunning to sit & watch the sunset.... just beautiful. The staff are very helpful & pleasant.

Loved our time at the hotel, staff were excellent. Ana at the reception was lovely, checked us in and out, she was super polite and informative. Also, the cleaners were all friendly, when passing by they stop to smile and say good morning, they make sure we have everything we need. Finally, Marko the server from the buffet hall, he was so lovely, super smiley, attentive, and was always happy to come over when we wanted something.

A modern, and spacious 5 star hotel located up at hill. It’s only a few minutes walk down steps to the beach but they have a buggy service constantly going back and forth.

Customer facing staff are pleasant and professional. Some of the others, not so much. But overall, very good.

It has an indoor and outdoor pool and if you prefer to sit by, or swim in, the sea then the rear of the hotel leads straight to the shore. Rocks with steps down to the water.

Breakfast is well organised and there are a lot of options but some choices are limited. For example there is not much choice of cereals or cheeses but definitely something for everyone.

Hotel in a place called Cavtat, about 30 minutes from Dubrovnik. Both the dinner and breakfast buffet spreads were fantastic. Rooms were clean and quiet.

Downside is if you get tired of eating in the hotel, it’s a 10 minute walk to the beachfront where there are several restaurants to choose from. Down several flights of stairs to the beach and back up. Hotel does provide buggy rides to and fro.

This place was soo amazing I can't even explain all. Staff from beginning was friendly and attentive to needs, explained everything and was so helpful, that's the first thing.
Room with balcony overseeing the adriactic sea was an absolutely a wonder the silence was different.but refreshing. Room was amazing order anything n everything from TV.. crazy.
The venue OMG..... over 10 floors, so many spots to take different view from. Everything on site, multiple restaurants, multiple bars, mutilate places to sea outside and take in the nature and views.
We got ferried down to the bottom where the town was by golf cart 24/7, seafood restaurant of the hinge... seafront seas watch fish n feeding them clear waters. Town had other necessary bits needed smoking wise ....all available. I can not express the amount of joy this place brought but I will return on my life

We had a pleasant stay. Quite a lot of guests, hotel is big enough so don’t feel crowded. Close to town and the golf buggy was very convenience. The view from the hotel is magnificent, service is excellent. We got upgraded to a Seaview room which was a bonus (thank you). The room is clean and spacious. One let down we have is the pillow was too soft, there is a spare pillow but was a smaller version.

Food was good but we do better.

Great indoor and outdoor swimming pool. There is a private beach area near the town, we had a really good swim! Highly recommended, will return again for sure. Thank you!

Absolutely loved this hotel, staff, breakfast and facilities were all excellent!! Views from our room were excellent, no beach but plenty of sun bathing areas. I actually found this much better than dodging 100s of bodies on a beach, it felt much more private and exclusive. For such a big hotel which felt full, it seemed reasonably quiet, including breakfast time which i thought flowed extremely well. Lifts were a bit strange, seemed to go where they wanted but finally got you there!! All in all a great stay in a lovely hotel!

Lovely hotel... fabulous sea views...and brilliant sunsets ,.lovely night time stars .had the opportunity to witness a massive storm one night was electrifying...

Absolutely amazing hotel, with all the essential facilties, spread over many levels with its own access to the sea and private nudist spot.
Beautiful hotel with outstanding service from cleaners to waiting staff.
The hotel has its own gym, inside and outside pool, spa for additional fee, bar and huge restaurant with outdoor area. The variety of food available for breakfast or dinner is just beyond expectations. Everything was just sooooooo delicious that I made me couple kg heavier on the departure.
There is a cart service that takes you directly and back to the front of another beech nearby where you have access to sunbeds where you can relax or explore other parts of Cavtat with many local restaurants and nearby shops or another beaches.
I'd highly recommend this hotel, and if the whole world wasn't worth exploring further, I would definitely go back to visit again.

We spent a week here and we couldn’t fault it. The hotel is stunning and in a picturesque location with amazing views. We will be coming back here for a fortnight next year. Didn’t want to leave. Staff are all lovely, especially Zorrica and Noel at the pool bar. We hope to see them again next year for another peach mojito!
