Casa Ceppi

Casa Ceppi is a work of art. It perfectly combines the traditional aspects of a Croatian estate with a modern, sleek, open aspect. The vision for the house's design is clear and consistent: furniture, style, colour scheme, simplicity and open spaces are to be found in every room. It's clear that no expenses were spared in the renovating of this luxurious home: from the beautiful countertops, the elegant wooden dining table, the commercial-grade pool, everything meets the most demanding standard. The estate spreads over many unique and separate areas which means our party was able to meet in different groups or altogether. Almost every day we congregated in a different space. Casa Ceppi is a very large home which was perfect for our large 16 person group. We would highly recommend it for special gatherings in this beautiful part of Istria.

However perfect we think Casa Ceppi is, our group thought some minor improvements could have made our stay even better.
Limited bin space - There is only one medium-sized bin outside which got filled after only 3 days. After this, the bags were accumulating in the kitchen. A very unsightly affair!

Tea & Coffee - There were no basic supplies such as coffee/tea for the guests upon arrival Most hotels and B&Bs will provide guests with simple drinks so that even if they arrive empty-handed, they can straight away relax and enjoy a drink. This could especially be an issue for guests arriving late at night or on Sunday when the shops close.

Toilet Paper - We found that only supplying one toilet roll per bathroom (9 total) made some guests go from room to room hunting for more. It’s definitely not something guests wanted to worry about on their holiday!

Slow Internet - The internet speed is provided by a very limited 4G router. It was placed in the corner of the lounge, but we managed to find some connection by moving it by a window. Still, it would disconnect many times a day and speeds were no faster than 1mbps. We would suggest installing an outdoor 4G antenna for better speeds.

Toaster - We found that only providing a two-slices toaster is not sufficient for an accommodation with such a capacity. We were unable to provide toasts for all our guests at breakfast.

Keys provided - Sanja, the housekeeper, kindly provided us with an additional set of keys. However occasionally our group separated into 3 or more sub groups exploring different areas - some further afield, some nearer - and were found unable to enter the house because they didn’t have one of the keys.

Pillows - Only one pillow is provided per guest. This has been acceptable for most but some of our guests who preferred two complained about this and there was no way to provide any extra pillows. Additionally, we paid for an extra bed which only came with a small cushion instead of a pillow.

Duvets - The duvets provided are very thin and all of them are for single beds. For example, every double bed has 2x single duvets. We found it to be an odd choice for couples used to sleeping together under the same cover. Also, some of our guests found the duvets too cold for the October nights.

Nisam mogla zamisliti bolji odmor od ovoga.Kuca je savršena tišina od koje te bole uši i jedan prekrasna vibra.Zelenilo, bazen,kuhinja u kojoj sve ima ,ništa ne nedostaje.Divno jednom riječju sutra bi se opet vratila,ako bude prilike.Vjerojatno si je nikad nebi mogla priušti da nije bilo Gee koja je organizirala jogu i kuharicu i masažu.Sve kao iz snova
