Very interesting in situ museum in a small cute town. Only 4 EUR for a group of five or more, otherwise 6 EUR. They have biggest Roman statue collection outside of Italy. I enjoyed it.

Really impressive in situ museum at one of the most important Roman locations at the east xoast of Adriatic. Medium sized, but very significant. Very good staff, knowledgable and polite.

The staff were really nice and explained everything to us before we entered the museum. I loved the fact that it was built in situ, so at the site where the ruins had been found. It was quite fascinating to imagine the Romans walking on the same place, looking at the same things I was looking at.
I also appreciated the fact that the museum was very modern and had a ramp wheelchair ramp.
The collection of the museum is pretty small, but nevertheless worth checking out.
Once you're done with the indoor part, you should definitely climb on the roof and enjoy the view of the Neretva vally. :)

Very beautiful and modern. Interesting history and interesting pieces. Entry price: 40 kuna per adult - I think it’s worth it. Also very friendly employees.
! Also accessible for handicapped people !

It is by far the best archeological museum in Croatia. Small but focused on one thing, all the artifacts are well presented. Plus - they have probably the best gift shop ever. And believe me - I've seen a lot archeological gift shops...

Nice little museum in Narona. It was built on Roman ruins. Good restaurant across the street. It is the mood point of the drive from Split to Dubrovnik.

Wonderful spot full of history. Fyi, the largest gathering of intact Roman statues from one dig. Give yourself about an hour.

One of the most interesting museum I have visited. Today village Vid hides remainings of magnificent Antic town of Narona. The museum itself is located "insitu" on the Roman temple of the defied Emperor Augustus. The main exibition consists of beautiful statues of Roman empires and nobles. Intriguing history of the place and the true story how its treasure was discovered after centuries that was laying under manures of the cattle stable. One of the many impressively discoveries of well preserved and magnificent Roman settlements, art and architecture on Croatian side of the Adriatic coast.

Truly a hidden gem, we had a privilege of being the only visitors and it was a stunning experience. So much of history intertwined at one place, braking known barriers of ancient Greeks and Romans with native Ilirians. Deserves a must see and full support as one of the most inspirtig culture hubs within dubrovnik neretva county
