Konoba BOLAT

We are so glad to have Konoba Bolat so close to our house. We highly recommend to everyone! Very authentic and for good price. During the main season I recommend to book the table in advance. Only one disadvantage - payment only in cash, NO cards.. :( (Please, improve it! It will make visiting you so much easier...)

100% recommended. We had the grilled fish with salad and fries. More than perfect food, not expensive and really nice people. Some dishes like the Pekas you have to order in advance (not on same day).

I wish I could give this place 10 or 20 stars. What an amazing experience we had here! Not only the best dinner we had in Hvar, or in Croatia but in a loooooong time! We were hoping to have octopus peka but it has to be ordered at least one day in advance. We were a little sad about that but after we left, we felt like that was the best that could have happened. We ordered the grilled lamb and MAN! that was delicious ... I find it very difficult to describe how extremely tasty it was. Even the french fries and the salad were the best we had in Croatia. The lady who attended us was very friendly, you could see she enjoyed talking to her customers and making suggestions. We're glad we ordered as recommended. She took the time to tell us a lot about the place: family own and run, they grow most of their own vegetables and make their own olive oil (hence the tasty salad) and they only buy meat from trusted farmers/fishers so as to assure the best quality every time. She even showed us their peka and explain to us how it was made and allowed us to take pictures. She was the nicest person ever, and (it may sound cliche) you could actually taste the "secret" ingredient in their food: they prepare it with love :) Thank you very much! if we're ever back in Hvar, we'll definitely visit you again.

Authentic Croatian restaurant, most lovely couple preparing such honest, pure and delicious food. Ooh I wished I could dine here more often. Must visit place, reserve in advance is a wise thing to consider.

This restaurant is far away from all the tourist spots of Hvar, but it is definitely worthy to take some time to get here.

The amazing landscape and views can't distract you from the delicious food.

Most of the food is homemade. We can highly recommend the French fries. The best we have ever tried in our lifes.

A small family restaurant with a big heart. The food is wonderful, portions are great size and you will get a good value for your money. The staff makes you feel like you are family. Very friendly and helpful. Make sure you call in advance to reserve because they can get busy. Definitely would recommend!

Super friendly staff, nice ambience in the middle of Hvar Island. Ideal to spend a few hours chilling and eating. We had to rush to catch the ferry, but regretted we could not stay longer.
The octopus salad was amazing, the buzara sauce of the prawns also delicious. The grilled lamb perfectly made. Prices are very good. Avoid the poshy places in Hvar and go to Bolat.

If you are searching for an authentic, family-run konoba - this is the place to be. We absolutely love this family, food, wine, ambience.. Everything about this place is perfect if you are searching for an authentic Croatian and Dalmatian experience.

This is a family restaurant with amazing dishes and very nice staff. You can order dishes one day bevor, but there is normal menu also. Strongly recommend, best restaurant in island of Hvar.

Superschönes, etwas abgelegenes, Restaurant! Sehr gemütliche Atmosphäre und auf jedenfall ein Besuch Wert, wenn man auf Hvar ist.
Die Auswahl an Speisen vom Grill ist prima und Geschmacklich ein Traum! Ich freue mich schon auf einen nächsten Besuch!
Tipp: Unbedingt etwas gegen Mücken mitnehmen, oder vorab einsprühen!

Selten so nette Gastgeber erlebt. Das Essen war hervorragend. Der Ausblick das Ambiente mit dem alten Bauernhaus. Die Terasse mit den Weintrauben runden das perfekt für uns ab. Können wir nur weiterempfehlen und kommen sehr gerne wieder.
