Sućuraj lighthouse

There is a beautiful walk along the coastline to the lighthouse, highly recommended. Also the Lighthouse itself is really lovely to look at both from land and boat. Highly recommend taking your towels and swimsuits with you as there are lovely rock beaches on the northern coastline.

This lighthouse stands here from 1874. It is one of my favorite places and it is really amazing place for holidays. It is gives you privacy but also it is only 15 minutes walk from the small town of Sućuraj where you have bar, restourants, markets and ferry to the mainland. I love this place and one day with my family I will spend a week here.

Very nice place, especially in summer weather, easy to find and reach. Even acommodation to rent.

My favourite place in town 💚

At the very eastern tip of Hvar island this place is in fact really the opposite of Hvar city in terms of traffic and noise. The lighthouse lies just outside the little village of Sućuraj and it's surrounded by nothing else than stunning scenery and blue water. If you're looking for peace and quiet then this is your paradise. Bring your family, your friends, your dog and, most of all, your fishing pole because this place is for rent and you can have it all for yourself. Wow!
