A monument erected in 1983 from a monolith stone stands along the historic Karolina road where a mountain ridge forms a natural border between maritime and coastal area of Gorski kotar. It praises the contribution of Slovenian Partisans in liberation of this area from occupation in World War II. This is a good starting point for hiking to the nearby summits (e.g. Tuhobić).
