Slap Krčić Knin

This is definitely a must see when visiting Knin. Just 10 minutes from the city center is the source of the Krka River and the beginning of the national park of its name. There is a road to take you basically to the base of the waterfall. It's narrow but hardly anyone visits it. Free parking on site. Some information boards about the waterfall also. Can walk right up to the waterfall. Be careful there is a lot of spray and it gets very wet and slippery. Definitely recommend!

During the summer months, the Krčić river dries up, so there is no waterfall (logically). This is the place where the Krčić River flows into the Krka River. The most famous travertine waterfall is also called Topoljski buk or Veliki slap. The Krčić River is about 10 km long and forms a beautiful canyon. Along the river there is a bike path built on an old road built during Napoleonic times. Although the Krčić river is not there in summer, it leaves behind an interesting travertine river bed. Nature lovers, this is worth a visit as well as those who enjoy small details.

This beautiful waterfall is the end of the krčić River and the source of the krka River. It is easily reached by the road, there is a aprking space. This waterfall is often rdy in the summertime, so the best time to see it is spring.

Beautiful nature, peacefull and romantic place near town Knin. Clear water, fresh air. You can walk near river Krka (theres a trail) and see a magnificent waterfall Krcic. That place is a source of river Krka and it is also estaury of Krcic and Krka.

Sadly arrived too late into June to see the waterfall but in a way seeing the smoothed off rock where the waterfall normally is was interesting enough. Impressive sight, parking should really be marked on the map but it's a narrow windy road up there and you can only really get one vehicle past at a time is if someone is coming up you'd need to reverse to let them pass which wouldn't be much fun if you're in a large vehicle.

Unfortunately the waterfall dried out during last hot days and we saw only nice rocks with a river below :) Anyway it's nice to see, I recommend to check earlier its status online, for example in comments section in google maps.

Second time here and again draft season and no waterfall. Usually here there should be 22m waterfall... But surrounding is beautiful and very well maintained. I will come again to really see the waterfall :-)

hidden gem in the knin area. However if you want to experience the waterfall avoid mid july and august. High temperatur makes sure the waterfall isnt there. If u are a fan of a cold dip then this place is for you. chilling water mixed with 30+ outside.
