Heritage Hotel Imperial

The hotel is historic. If you appreciate 18th century architecture, it is amazing. The ceilings are high, our room was spacious with a balcony, and it was all recently renovated.
The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast had a wide selection. The ceiling in the dining room was 25' + high and very ornate. I highly recommend it.

I do not know what to say, from where to begin.
This is where you should stay whenever you visit Opatija.
Location perfect.
Rooms perfect.
Service and staff perfect.
Spa perfect (if whirpool is what you prefer more than pool) sauna and relax zone is perfect.
Breakfast in top 3 I ever had in a 4 star hotel. Maybe number 1.

We had a great time at this hotel. The rooms are beautiful and it’s located right on the main street. The breakfast buffet was great. The dinner buffet was okay but they should have brought out fresh food throughout vs just at the beginning. We really enjoyed the wellness area with jacuzzis and sauna. I’d recommend this hotel to others. Seaview is nice but you will get some noise from the street so garden view is best, in my opinion.

This was my first stay in hotel Imperial for non-business purposes, and overall I can say we were indeed very satisfied, and would gladly come again. This is indeed an old hotel, so it has it charm of former times, but was (recently) throughout refurbished and its up to the modern standards. It’s essentially a modern hotel in an old skin. Not necessarily everyone’s cup of tea, but we liked it. Location doesn’t get any more central, which as a result means you will hear some street noise, but that’s is to be expected. Service was just outstanding, everyone was very polite and more then helpful. Up to a level that after a few days you feel almost as at home. Breakfast is perfect, nothing more can be desired. Dinner is ok (we had a half board), it’s not a Michelin star quality, and there is some room for improvement, but there is a lot of variety and is certainly a good value for the money. Would take it again. Parking is a bit of a hassle as location is central, and cost extra 25Euro per day, which is the same as the costs of parking on Opatija public grounds, but just plan this and call hotel in advance. To sum up, this a great hotel in centre of Opatija, and we are planning to come again, primarily because of excellent personal that makes us feel like home.

Extremely pleasant place. Excellent location in the very centre of the city. Spacious rooms, superbly decorated. Elegant but not overwhelming. Clean and tidy. The view from the room overlooks the Adriatic Sea. The reception staff is very polite, helpful and committed. Excellent breakfast: tasty, varied, plenty of choice. A place to recommend!

This is a very beautiful hotel in Opatija, in the centre, in a historical building, one of our favourites. The hotel has perfect rooms with sea view, fully recommend the half-board and the buffet dinners and breakfasts. The staff is just amazing and overall the impression is very good. The hotel is located in a very central location.
The room was surprisingly excellent.
The breakfast was superb in comparable to other hotels in Croatia.

I can't recommend it enough. Service was amazing. The staff was very helpfull and professional. Communication and assistance were top notch! Location, food, view... everything was excellent. Imperial cafe also great with frendly service. And special thanks to Sara who was very helpfull with the booking. :)

A wonderful and magnificent hotel in the center of Opatija. The rooms were spacious and clean, beds and sheets were quite comfy. I couldn't find Don't disturb sign for our doors and it was quite annoying when cleaning ladies came in in the morning three times right after they knocked (no waiting). I also missed a bigger spa area as it was too crowded (2 jacuzzies, one turkish sauna and one bigger finnish sauna). The food was delicious tho, plenty of things to choose from. But I have never seen before what I saw here - so many picky people wasting so much food. Such a shame.
Overall, it was great!

For us, just perfect ! The building itself is amazing. The hotel is renovated, but the historical touch is still present and I loved that. All the personell were super friendly, especially the bell boys were around every second for any kind of help. Breakfast, hard to beat that quality and variety. Dinner was adequate to a very good 4 star hotel with a nice choice every day, can not complain!

Pictures are what you get! It was just as nice in person as it was on-line. The staff was super friendly,both at the front desk and the spa. What is definitely the clincher for the full rating- the breakfast buffet was the best I have ever had that was included in the room price...

Fantastic hotel! Really good service and super friendly staff. From start to finish you will be well looked after. They carry bags, park the car and much more. Always with a smile. Buffet is available for a small extra amount. Definitely worth it. There is a spa and gym in the basement. The gym is open to anticipation and the spa has relax, whirlpool, steam room and sauna. The rooms are large and clean. the beach is just a minute from the hotel. The hotel is definitely worth a visit.

The best experience while staying at this hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They even surprised us with a shampagne bottle presented to our room for my birthday!

When it comes to hospitality and service, this hotel is truly superb!! Family friendly and equipped with excellent and friendly personnel, from the reception team to the spa staffs and as well as the entire service team, you guys are simply amazing. It was such a memorable experience. Not to forget the sumptous and delectable food specially dinner!! Half board was all worth it. The kitchen and service team ensured a flawless job each day, we couldnt ask for more!! Price is definitely reasonable, location is above and beyond as everything is accessible by foot. If you are looking for a panoramic and magnificent view in opatija whether it be night and day, this hotel is worth considering!!

Everything was so perfect and we really manage to get away from busy daily life and just relax and enjoy! Staff: everyone was very polite, but not in a way that they were pretending but they are all trully nice people. They care that everything is perfectly arranged, so that guests can relax and enjoy without worries. Room and bathroom: clean, big, cozy, great mattress and many pillows. Food: nobody can stay hungry in this hotel! Big selection of tasty continental and meditteranean dishes. Spa: thank You Katarina for Your kindness and thank You Tomislav for best massages ever! Great space with whirpools, saunas and large area to relax.
Parking is behind the hotel, Lungomare promenade starts one minute from the hotel, everything is in walking distance, stores, pharmacy etc. Also Imperial caffee in front of the hotel has beautiful terrace and great coffee and cocktails. Hope we'll come back again!

We had a renovated room, high ceiling 5 meters...so the room felt so spacious and grand. Incredible clean...like no one had stayed before us. The best are the pristine white linens. A.C., tv....etc Beautiful bathroom with a huge shower...the staff was so helpful and kind...even running to open doors for us. The buffet dinner was good...many options for everyone. The location is absolutely perfect. I'd recommend it.

The Hotel in OPATIJA is majestically located in front of the corridor to walk shore a few steps from the sea and restaurants; its facilities are luxurious and the service is the best and friendly; It is excellent to spend a honeymoon without leaving it.
Breakfast have a lot of variety to choose from, as well as the bar; very friendly staff. I love it

The athmosphere of this hotel, especially the dining hall, are unique, the location is brillant. The staff was very friendly and the service was excellent. During our stay at the Remisens Premium Heritage Hotel in Opatija we felt as well as all the famous guests before.

We needed a place where we could invite some of the displaced persons from Ukraine to meet. The management and staff at Heritage Hotel Imperial, especially manager Robert and Elvis could not have been more accommodating and helpful. Wow...Huge thank you to you both for taking care of us. This is one of those things that will not be forgotten.

Looks great after renovation. Amazing service, tidy and modern rooms.
There is various foods in the restaurant.
Good spa centre. Saunas and jacuzzi. No swimming pool though
