Great family atmosphere, delicious pizza and wine and delicious appetizers and pistachio dessert, you don't need anything else to spend a wonderful time, I recommend it wholeheartedly

In my experience, the most beautiful taste from Bassano del Grappa to Rijeka. Excellent dough fragility and taste. I recommend it to everyone who loves pizza, you will be very positively surprised.

Together with my family and friends we visited Bella Istria "San Lorenzo" 4 times during our 2 weeks stay in Sveti Lovrec. And it wasn't beacause it was the only restaurant there. We've enjoyed every dish we've ordered - different type of pizzas and crescias were delicious. The dough was perfect and ingredients were top quality. Diavola and Slavoska were our top choices, with perfect level of spiciness. But even the simplest Margherita was something that our kids ate with appetite. We were also delighted with their antipasti's - both seashells as well as prosciutto, salame, mozzarella di buffala served along with salty and crispy focaccia. Masterpiece! For the dessert you must try their lovely pistacchio or chocolate lava cake and kids will definitelly enjoy gelatos.
But not only food makes this place workt to visit - it has very friendly family atmosphere, starting from the guy preparing the table, through another one taking the orders, nice lady overseeing everything and ending with the most important person here - Pizza Chef standing next to the hot stove that welcomes you and says goodby with the smile on his face. They all make this place that you will want to come back!

Real good pizza Authentic style. Atmosphere is a little epty walls ...maybe more photos add some music etc..

Top ambient surrounded in old istrian stone with flowers everywhere. The stuff and food are really great. We'll come again.

Best Pizza I've ever had. Even better than many places in Italy. Fresh and tasty, great atmosphere and friendly owner family.

Lovely little Italian place. We visited twice in one week with a group of 8 people. The menu is quite extensive, lots of different pizzas, some pasta and a few fish options. Plenty of choice for gluten free as well. The chef came out to de-bone the fish which was very helpful. One of the staff spoke good English and all were very attentive. Food and drink is very reasonably priced, with starter main and drink coming in about £10 per person.

We were able to enjoy a very nice evening on the terrace in the "San Lorenzo" in July 2019. The inside room is quaint and traditionally furnished. All dishes were delicious and the pizzas are among the best in Istria. The price-performance ratio is excellent. The friendliness and serenity of all staff and the boss we really liked. All in all a very nice evening and a nice expierence for the whole family came out. That's why our best recommendation and we will be back!

You will get the best service the best pizza and one of the best smiling people in Kroatië... All of this if you book in advance. We were lucky to have a a free table for us without booking but be sure to to do it before you get there.

Excellent place to eat. Loved the food. All cooked fresh. Pizza's cooked in wood fired oven directly In front of you in the restaurant. Very nice friendly efficient service by the owners. Brilliant value for money! We ate here quite a few evenings during our stay.

Excellent pizzas. For an extra 20 kuna get black truffles grated over them. The town and its defences are well worth a look around, and if you're lucky you'll get a marvellous sunset over the Adriatic. As all the pizzas are fresh and hand made don't expect instant service, just order some drinks and relax while you wait.

Our second visit and have already booked to go again! Fantastic food (our group of eight had a mixture of pizzas, pasta, risotto and weinerschnitzel) and a very welcoming, friendly service. Highly recommended.

We drove past this place several times during our recent two-week stay in nearby Barat since it always seems to look closed from the main road. On our last day, we decided to check it out and got a fabulous surprise!! The restaurant is very clean and nicely decorated, with excellent service and really great food. How we regret only finding this little treasure on our last day!
