Hotel Maya Vista

A nice and comfy hotel up on the hill, far away from the hustle and bustle of Tela. It offers spectacular views of sunrise and sunset. Friendly and hospitable staff makes me feeling refreshed and recharged at the end of the stay.

We ate at the restaurant for New Year’s Eve. The food was excellent. Everything was fresh and the portions were more than enough. They served filet mignon and lobster with a couple of sides. I must say that it exceeded my expectations. The fees was very tasty and the lobster was excellent. The view was nice as well. I would definitely recommend and will go back if I am in the area.

Food is delicious!!! The people are very nice. We went on a slow day (group of 8) so there was a very chill atmosphere. Plus you get an amazing view from the rooftop!!! Totally recommended

The price, the view, the cleanliness, the food all amazing. My kids loved the pool. You can relax here away from the beach noise. We've stayed at various places in Tela this is by far our favorite.

Only came here for food. The staff was friendly and the food was good. The menu featured various vegetarian items, something that can be hard to find in Honduras. Wide selection of beer and wine. Somewhat on the pricey end, but definitely worth it!

Very beautiful and very nice employees. I enjoyed every moment of my stay there. A bit pricey compared to what you can find in Tela, but defenetly one on the most beautiful hotel in town. Watching the lightning and the fireworks from the to of the roof was totally worth the price. Simply beautiful!

Great food, great service! She had the spaghetti and I had Lobster and Filet. It was amazing! Definitely worth the stars we gave, especially here in honduras! Don't miss the sunset!

I did not have the opportunity to stay at the hotel but, my family and I really enjoyed the food, it was delicious and served in no time. The service was very but very kind and helpful. I will definitely come back and recommend the place.

The Ceviche with Mango was exquisite. If that's your meal, though... go ahead and order two. It'd be nice if they had a meal portion of this dish.

Only problem, really worth the work out, carrying my families luggage to the most splendid top floor room, amazing views, great staff, but when you drive from Seattle, Wa, to Honduras, in Tela, u need to bring all your luggage to your room if u want to keep it. Lol. But it is the only place in Tela to stay!!!

The food here and service here is amazing. Pictured is 12 oz lobster with a salad that is included with the dish. Also the view is to die for.

The best small hotel in Central America. I've been to Belize, El Sal, Nicaragua, Guatemala, Costa Rica, and Panama. I've stayed in lots of hotels big and small. This one is the best.
