Great store with very friendly Keeper. I used to be your neighbor many, many years ago, around the time of the devastating 1976 earthquake. I will never forget and will always be grateful to your family for giving my family shelter on the day of the eartthquake.
We were allowed to seek safety in an old commuter bus that was parked in your back yard. I believe that you descend from this good and generous family. At the time I lived right across the street from you, in the house that is next to the school named "El Hogar". The house was one with the entrance through a door that was part of the bigger garage door, and had a long zaguan that led to the living quarters in the back section of the property.
I remember the name of the matriarch's of your family was Doña Maria, who made absolutely delicious tamales, and would build the most beautiful "Nacimientos" together with her daughter's (I believe three of yhem). I do remember that one of the daughters was named Corina, but I don't recall the others' names. I was driven to write this out of sheer nostalgia and I hope very much that you will read it and maybe remember me too, thanks.
