Makola Shopping Mall

They have every single thing you could think of. And the prices were right you must barter for the best prices. But definitely wear great walking shoes.

It was pretty busy, but I managed to get everything I needed at a good price. The market vendors were really nice and helpful. Whenever I'm in Ghana, I always go there to pick up my stuff. It's cool that I could manage to cut the price down.

Must visit market in Ghana. The market is super packed. If you’re not the type who likes crowded environment pls take caution.
Don’t go about taking pictures anyhow.
Always buy something from them before taking a picture.

Items are less costly. All you need to do is walk. I mean walllllllk to get whatever you need. If there's any way one can easily be helped to locate items and their lane/shops, it will help a lot, especially to first-time visitors.

It a public place no need to worry that much and it easy to get access to all your to buy list and very good stuff

Wholesale prices you cannot imagine so low. Ask them for good quality stuff rather than cheaper ones. Difference is little.

Fresh Produce, Shea Butter, and Black Soap. Don’t be shy. Negotiate your preferred price. Wear comfortable walking shoes and be prepared to walk for miles. Be safe. Place your phone and belongings close to your body. Walkways are narrow and losing something may not be easy to retrieve.

From toothpicks to tires! Be patient and give it more than one try, you will be frustratedthe first time. The best prices are here. Had a few vendors try to take advantage of me as a foreigner with obviously high prices but this is EXTREMELY rare.

It is crowded. It is noisy. Very congested with cars, trucks, motorcycles, buses and pedestrians competing for every available space. It is Makola, love it or don't go near the place.

If you can stand the crowds and walking all over to get the deals, the hustle, the bustle, you'll enjoy. 😉 I love going here...but it may be overwhelming for others.

Makola shopping mall is Ghanas biggest shopping center for all products and prices are affordable both wholesale and retail, There’s a car park for convenient shopping 🛍.

I must have been drunk that day. I don't remember even being there. I don't even know where it is. But it must have been good cuz I gave it 5 stars. Lol. So I recommend this place, wherever it is.......

Very busy place with human and vehicular traffic, you can virtually find everything you looking for, you just need to know where to turn to also you need to have a fair idea of prices, lots of items to shop, very exciting environment

Makola Shopping Mall is notably one of the most visited shopping centre in Ghana. The advantage of the Makola Shopping mall is the several mini businesses surrounding this famous local mall.

It is a one-stop centre for any product you would need.

You can find a wide range of products and services for your household, business, organization etc. Products such as foodstuff, electronics, furniture, fashion, cosmetics, herbs, local food joints, hairsaloons etc

Finding products can be very stressful, but one of the simplest way is by asking a hawker or food vendor by the road and they will gladly assist you. I prefer to call them the Makola Google Map. Lol

MAKOLA SHOPPING MALL 🏬

This is one of Accra’s busiest market place. In the mall you’d find different shops with different items ranging from home, office, whatever the occasion equipments and items and the good part is most of these shop items are wholesaled.

Most online business make their purchases from here and sell them online to those who can’t make it to town.

The busiest of days here are WEDNESDAY and SATURDAYS but everyday is a busy day here except Sundays.

The place is easily accessible and you can find anything to beautify the body there.

I was able to get everything and anything I needed from makola shopping mall. It's a good place to get affordable and quality goods

The economy is hard but buying at MAKOLA with its low prices makes things a bit easier. If I need to buy haircare stuff, pomade, soap, sneakers, dresses, and trousers, I visit this place. A great place to do your shopping.

Amazing place to shop... Everything is there to buy

You can find just about anything in this market. It really is an experience to come down here and walk around. Thankfully, we had a local friend who helped us navigate our way around or we might have been overwhelmed. Definitely worth checking out if you’re visiting Accra.
