It's a fantastic place to be. It gives you some natural ambience of really being at the center of Ghana as if you could just pull up those cardinals together and later unfold it. However, there's no written text to guide tourist, no tourist guard, and no major sign post at the place to show visitors what the place is. As a country, we need to make it more attractive as a tourist center.

This is a monument indicating the center of Ghana, which is located in Kintampo, Bono East Region.
But it's left to deteriorate without maintenance and really not much going on there as a tourist attraction site.

I went there last year. I expected such a place to be in a very good condition but unfortunately it looked abandoned. I hope the Ministry of Tourism and Ghana Tourism Authority take steps to restore it.

About Kintampo
Town in Ghana

Kintampo is a town and tourist destination in the Bono East Region of Ghana. It became the capital of Kintampo North Municipal in 2004. Kintampo has a population of 111 000. It also served as the capital of the former Kintampo District. Kintampo also has a Senior High School which is located at Kyeremankoma. There is a college of health called Kintampo College of Health and Well-being in the town. source
