I have been there several times during my stay in Ghana and the people are very kind. It is good to call before you come, but they are often available. Double bedrooms between 150 and 200 GHS

Budget friendly and comfy, highly recommend

I had a fantastic 3-day stay in this little oasis inside a chaotic, sprawling city. The rooms are clean and everything worked. The staff is very accommodating and helpful. It is just steps away from the STC Bus Station. I think it is the best value in the city of Kumasi. A++++++

We looked for a long time for an affordable accomodation in Kumasi. In the end we found our way to Daddy’s Lodge and it was a lucky strike. Patricia who workes at the reception is just so lovely and helpful! She made us immediately feel welcome and at home. I got a double room together with my friend for 80 cedis per night. The bathroom was really beautiful and clean. It was possible to take a real shower (water pressure wasn’t that high but ok), flushing toilet.
The bed was a bit small but for 90cedis we could have had a room with a bigger one.
While we were there they did constructions on the kitchen, so we couldn’t eat there. But it was no problem, as Patricia could give us many good advises where to get food closely.
There is even a café in the petrol station close to the lodge where they had real coffee.
They also offer laundry services.
The location is very central but as it is in a side street it is very calm. The STC busstation is just around the corner. VVIP Bus Station is also in a walking distance away.
They also have a really nice balcony with a nice view.
For us it was a haven of peace in this busy and stressful City.
I can totally recommend Daddy’s Lodge.

Very friendly personnel. The standard double bed room, was very neat and the bathroom was also clean and big. The bes of a normal double bed room is quite small but it was okay. The room had AC and a fan. Sadly there were NO MOSQUITO nets on the windows to protect you from the mosquitos.. we paid 80 GHC for one night.

Great value for money. Clean basic rooms. Very good location so you can avoid the crazy Kumasi traffic by walking while you do your sightseeing.

The house was newly renovated, so clean, spacious, nice staff. There is dorm room for budget option. Walking distance, 10 to 15 minutes to market, center and bus stations.

We had a great stay, clean place, friendly personnel, comfortable bed, television, freezer and private bathroom. Centrally located but in a quiet street.

So I’m in Kumasi looking for a spot for the night and I stumble on this little gem
All the staff are friendly and treat you like family
The owner even took me to a great Jamaican restaurant in Kumasi
Aircon hot shower
And there is a bus station around the corner with all destinations in Ghana
It would make a great base to discover Ghana 🇬🇭

A unique Victorian style lodge located in the centre but quite part of Adum kumasi. They offer great value for money and staff are very friendly and helpful.
