Mampongteng Government Hospital is one of the Kwabre district hospitals in the area. It has all the necessary facilities to be a district office. The nurses are diligently discharging their duties with tolerance and patience.
However, one could tell, during my visit, that the hospital is in need of more qualified doctors as there was no single doctor at the hospital from dawn till I left at 1:00pm. There was evidence of patients impatiently waiting for a doctor.
The place is neat and it has wheelchair entrance and a sizeable parking space.
