The power supply to Obuasi and its environ has been stable recently but areas like Adansi Kyekyewere and Dadwen continue to have voltage fluctuation and its associate problems especially in the evenings. Voltage drops as low as 160 between 8 to 11 pm on daily basis which is detrimental for gadgets like fridges , TVs etc. I do not want to include the damages incurred by some residents but would like ask ECG to check and replace the transformer in Kyekyewere and Dadwen as the town has outgrown the capacity of the existing transformers.

They are too corrupt. They keep complaining about people doing illegal connection but fail to talk about the illegal amounts of money they put on people's heads every month without actually checking usage. I've never seen any person coming over to read my meter but they keep bringing huge bills and when I go there for clarification I'm always addressed rudely. I think an external auditing team really needs to be charged with probing into their dealings. How can a whole house with about 8 rooms, with only one meter, pay lesser than 2 rooms on one meter. Simply inaccurate. If I could give zero stars I would.

We the people of Jacobu are facing lot of serious challenges with electricity..we hardly get stable.. For the past 5 days we are some serious low current..we can't do anything with it
