University Hall, Katanga

University Hall (Katanga Hall) is a hall that seeks to create a serene and comfortable environment for it's inhabitants.
They usually have jama/morale on Friday nights. Thus, to release stress.
A legal inhabitant of the hall is called a "Katangee"
Their motto "Rest Not" inspires a lot of their inhabitants to really study for the better.
Their slogan goes like "Fellows - Charge"

The best male hall in Ghana currently. Beautiful and serene, great scenery and inhabits the best gentlemen you can find on KNUST Campus.

Yellooo am loving this place ( KNUST school).
It's really cool in here, the buildings are well arranged and looking awesome, nice color paint. The trees the road, wooow really good. The environment looks siren and the temperature too, very cool.

This is where real men and brave souls are found. The decision of management to make it a mixed Hall was hard but we move.

Ultimate students hall in Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.

The best hall on campus now accommodating both male and female first year students. It's got a nice restaurant, Tv room, canteen, spacious care park and anything else a student would wish to have to enjoy his or her stay on campus.

I'll say its safer here at university hall than we expected... Although they have their processions on Friday evenings which is of course part of the tradition; but we are not threatened in any way...I think university hall is a cool place to be

Katanga Hall is the best hall ever with more intelligent,sharp,brilliant boys and girls who has helped in uplifting this school to the maximum.
This hall also is blessed with needed facilities to enhance their basic necessities.
And it is the hall with most beautiful girls.

The best hall that can stand against any bad rules

It is a very neat hall.The main hall is where the females are and the annex is where the males are.It is close to a taxi stand which is found in front of old Brunei at the back of Every Friday night we sing songs to release stress.

The hall of gentle men, radically ready to do anything towards the success of the university.
Has been awarded as the best hall in Ghana and beyond many times. Entertainment is the water they drink.

Nice nice place, but FYI Conti have better morale sessions than Kat, at least the previous batches till these 22 medical and engineering boys smh🤦, but the place is nice mmom but Conti is nicer just I live their basketball court more

It is one of the renowned halls on KNUST campus. It is a male hall and it is believed that most the brilliant students on campus are/ where once affiliated there. The guys really have fun on every Friday.

The University Hall KNUST has a long history which dates back to 1961. The Hall was to commemorate the accession of the then Kumasi College of Technology to full University status on 22nd August, 1961. University Hall, popularly known as Katanga was an all male hall until 1st of August 2018, when it was converted into a mixed Hall. The main hall has 198 rooms excluding flats which can accommodate up to 792 students. The annex has 95 rooms which can take up to 380 people.

Facilities include Games room, A Gym, Chapel, Internet Cafe, A mini market, Communication centre, Barbering Salon, kitchen that serves food etc. Katanga has a very lively Junior Common Room

Due to some situation Katanga hall is now a mixed Hall where both male and female students on KNUST campus can stay.
All you have to do is to apply to stay there and you are good to go.

This is a traditional hall at knust which has now been converted into mixed hall. It was then a male hall. This is one of the most constrain halls of KNUST. This hall used to be a male hall since the establishment of the University. It has now been converted into mixed hall where both boys and girls are accommodated . It was converted into a mixed hall in the year 2018.This hall used to be the hall of the University and it has been given a title as Katanga hall. All because of the braveness of its members and aluminal . A lot of people have dwelled in that hall . It is remembered for its powerful priest . According to the history of that hall,the students of that hall used to serve their priest at the hall .And what I have also held is that,it is the only traditional hall with a swimming pool.The place is quite exciting and great as well .
