The Municipal Office is located in Kukurantumi. The creation of the assembly into Abuakwa North from the then East Akim occured in 2019 therefore the assembly is still on course to complete many of its buildings for the various departments even as other places have been rented for them.
Even as the administration is occupying a temporal residence, work is progressing smoothly and steadily.

The staffs at the Assembly are very welcoming, wearing smiles and always willing to assist you.

I must also aknowledge the current MP- Hon Gifty Ampofo - Twum, MCE- Hon Owusu Ampofo-Twum and the MCD- Hon Jeremiah Agyekum Amoafo for their hard work done on that new grounds.

They have really set a good pace for leaders that will come later.

About Koforidua
City in Ghana

Koforidua, also popularly known as K-dua or Koftown and now Kofcity, is a city and the capital of Eastern Region in southern Ghana. Koforidua was founded in 1875 by migrants from Ashanti.
