A lovely mountain worth hiking with trails well marked . Max hike up should be less than two hours . The apex gives a breathtaking view of Ho and its environs

Adaklu is and imposing and beautiful mountain. A long and strenuous hike will lead you to the top where you will have an astounding view of Ho. The little villages around the mountain have a very nice feel to them, specially because of the friendliness of the Ghanaian people.

The climb took us about 2 hour to reach the top which was beautiful and very relaxing. I really loved the mountain climb. The guide was super helpful and nice. It would cost you less than 15 cedis for the climb and the guide fee.

Know this and know peace: Adaklu mountain hike is not for everyone! I would recommend it to seasoned hikers, no newbies.

This is the story of how I saw this mountain and knew it wasn’t for me. My 2 companions who are good hikers and fit came back hours later exhausted, like finished!! Looooool. Boy was I happy I didn’t go!

The hike is about 30gh I believe. Definitely make sure you find a guide, get to the sign post and ask.

The town is awesome, the people are so so nice. I stayed in the camper van and played games with the neighbourhood kids. There was a towns meeting on shorts so I sat and watched the adults interact, it was awesome!

If you are brave and fit and experienced, definitely hike Adaklu.

Beautiful place and environment to be. The hiking of the mountain ⛰ is not a child's play, it's very difficult, but if you're determined, you'll hike to the extreme tip. The tip however needs to be protected with metals instead of a nylon tape. The hike path also needs boundaries and protection in case someone slips.
Water 💧 and dust bin must be provided along the hike path, and Finally, Medics need to be available.
