Amaja Lodge

This is serene environment for a simple person. I lodged here for 5 nights with my fiancee whiles we were looking for a place for our wedding. The nights we spent there were great. I loved the room service and how neat the rooms are. The relation to occupants is really great and have their occupants and heart. Honestly, I really felt like I was was in a 5 star hotel. Didn't take any photos though cos I'm not a photo lover.

Serene place, less noise.

Neat accommodation that's friendly to the budget.
Easily accessible. Right along the highway, but not close enough for vehicular noise to be a nuisance. That's a feat.
The rooms are clean and well-lit. The corridors are clean and well-lit. Stairways are clean and well-lit. Artwork on the walls are a nice touch. Wall paints and wooden accents tastefully appointed.
Air conditioning works.
Fan in the room works excellent. Got a little dust on it, though.
Water heater in the bathroom works.
Water pressure low, but usable.
Large mirror in the bathroom for shaving. Another one in main room for duding up. Yup!
TV works. Limited content options, though.
Refrigerator works excellent.
Wall power outlets work. Good number of them too.
Beautiful and reasonably chosen tiles on floors; low risk of slip-and-fall even for the more careless and children.
Thin film of dust on the otherwise sturdy doors. Probably got dust on my doors at home too. 🤣
Spacious (Queen size?) bed with firm, comfortable mattress.
Adequate furnishing for one. Served my family of three-- no problem. The seating furniture pieces are neat, sturdy and comfortable.
Spacious parking. You could fit maybe 20 SUVs in it.
They've got a beautiful, polite and helpful day manager/receptionist (call her Becky 💐). Generally, all staff are polite and helpful.
Limited selection on the menu.
They have wheelchair accessible rooms on the ground floor, except for the dining room, which is upstairs. You'll do most of your eating in your room anyway.
Housekeeping: you'll know they've been around, but they leave your stuff alone. That's comfortable. 👏
Would I ever come back here? Most certainly.
Would I recommend this place to family and friends? Already did.

Good budget place. Clean rooms and great breakfast. Couldn't get hot water to bath though the hot water only flows through the basin but not the bath.

Amaja Lodge is an excellent place to stay when you visit Sekondi-Takoradi. Good service, nice rooms that are reasonably priced.
