Tarkwa Municipal hospital is a hospital under the control of a local government, as opposed to those run commercially, by some sort of charitable organisation, or by national or state governments.

Its my first visit to this place....and av fallen in love with the structures. The hospital looks very big and simply amazing. Tarkwa man w) adze oye.

Good reception, larger spaces for activities and the staff are exceptionnel

Great place.Waiting time to see the Doctor is terrible. Unless you go there on an emergency you have to join a long queue to see a doctor.

Visiting hours for morning is 4:30AM
Evening is 4:30PM to 5:30PM

Their service is quite decent.

My recent visit to Tarkwa Municipal Hospital was disappointing. Despite arriving with a family member involved in a fatal accident, we had to wait for nearly 3 hours before any attention was given. It was only after we reminded the staff that they attended to us. This delay was unsettling, especially as doctors were ending their shifts. Timely and efficient care is crucial, and I hope improvements are made in this regard. We visited a private hospital right after, I was teary. The care and attention, the various tests...
