Takoradi Airport

Medium size domestic airport located int he heart of Takoradi. Good traffic management and seem less service delivery.

Clean & efficient airport. Check in was smooth, security was quick, & bathrooms were clean.

Lovely place. I believe I can fly.

A small Army Base airport for transit passenger convenience. Some great curio on sale at the passenger waiting area.

Has a Big parking lot,security is tight since it is operated by the Military and Immigration personnels..it has a Duty Free shop that sells snacks and other confectionery..the military base too has a mess/canteen that hungry passengers can get access to buy delicious food before taking off..

In the heart of Takoradi Air force Base and also adjacent Tullow Ghana. Its has got a nice parking space for overnight parking during travels. Its more secured place because of the ever presence of the military. You will enjoy taking flight and chopper from this airport.

A really nice and simple structure for local and cross-country travels. Very convenient. And great location. Its easily accessible. Luggage retrieval system is quite simple too. I like the fact that security is close by and on high alert.

No hassles from arrival till now. Friendly atmosphere. Had access to the officers mess for lunch at a reasonable price.

Magnificent edifices with a historic architectural landmark and relief features. Long tarmac for landing aeroplanes. Wheelchair accessible entrance and parking spaces, garage for vehicles, wheelers, trolleys for carrying goods, unisex washrooms and toilet facilities, Immigration office, passport, travel visas and airline ticketing services, strict security and CCTV surveillance, air traffic control systems and towers, restaurants, convenience stores and sickbay services available.

Takoradi Airport is a great place and you can find a good military force around the place
