Kete Krachi Ferry Site

Kete Krachi is a town in the Oti region of Ghana, inhabited by the people of Krachi as majority and other tribes. The route through the town links the region (Oti) to other regions in Ghana (Northern, Ahafo and Volta). Between the town and others lie a river of about 1.5 miles. There are various means of crossing this river, either by wooden speed boats or by ferry. The ferry on this river is considered the safest by most travellers and tourist, the ferry works within the hours of 8:30am and 2:300pm every day except for Wednesday which has an extended time to 4:30pm. Its a whole experience to use the ferry as a transport means 🙂. You get to enjoy the view of the river and Islands 🏝 with a full safety.

I've been crossing the lake at Dambai using the ferry but with the experience I had crossing the the Kete Krachi lake was thrilling because that was my first time of staying on the ferry for an hour and 20mins.I felt cold at a point because of the waves..

Like seriously speaking, I loved this place. This is where u get to see the ferry and even walking inside to have a feel of it. And not forgetting the boats on top of the Akosombo dam. It's lovely

Services are not that good but kindly keep up with 5cedis to make your crossing
