The Bekwai Lorry station is the biggest in the whole municipality where you can get access to vehicles to Obuasi, Kumasi, Accra, kokofu, Ejisu, dompoase, mankesim, New edubiase, poano, Anwiankwanta etc...
Vehicle sizes varies based on the destination. The most common vehicles found at the station are taxis, urvans, mini vans, sprinters, Benz 207, among others. The close proximity of the station to the market (the station literally is within the market), one can easily make a quick dash to the market and get items for the journey. The lorry station is very busy and congested especially on Wednesdays due to the fact that Wednesdays are market days within the Bekwai Municipality.
