Great atmosphere

I was here in the morning for a typical Ghanaian breakfast. They have Tizert which is made out of flour and you can also order emutu (rice balls). The design is quite nice. Don't have an idea how it is in the evenings. Only the music is a bit loud for breakfast.

The Bar is a quaint, rustic establishment. The internal space is limited, yet their well-appointed furniture is arranged such that the space doesn't feel cramped.

The decor is rustic, of course, with African colours and motifs dominating the theme.

The food took a while to arrive, but it arrived hot and felt fresh. We had the fried rice with chicken sauce. It was excellent. Spicy, but excellent.

There's a gripe I had with them, and it's a problem I have with most food establishments in Ghana: they don't serve water with the meal. It's something that needs to be bought separately. Even while we waited an hour or so for the food to arrive, we weren't served water. It seems that our people haven't evolved much culturally in this regard. And it's annoying.

I'd reckon that that they have the usual assortment of beer and spirits; I saw evidence of variety, even though we didn't get any drinks besides water.

Parking is on-street and unpaid.

I paid through regular mobile money. For some reason, they declined to have me pay into their merchant line, even though that option, along with the merchant number was displayed.

Service was prompt and polite.

It's a place I shall go to again and again.

I did like the place

I was here for food, after read the menu I go for special pizza, oh special it was alright. Don't think they know what a pizza is to be honest. Fist it took an hour before the pizza arrived, I was the only there (21:30) so should have known. I will not mention all, but lot of carrot for sure on that pizza!

Maybe my fault, but first and last time.
