Very good hospital and affordable to attend

My husband and I decided I go for a surgical abortion on my third pregnancy because I had admission to have my masters programme at a university in the states. Our family doctor recommended we go to Marie Stopes. My husband and I went to the facility at Ashiaman on 23rd of November,2018 which was a Friday.
We met some few women who had queue on arrival. We sat for some few minutes, and it was my turn to see the midwife who was very nice to me. She gave me the options for a safe abortion at the center which I opted for surgical abortion because I didn't have time to waste and at the same time too, I didn't want to go through profuse bleeding which is a characteristic of medical abortion. I paid for the procedure and was asked to go upstairs to see the one in charge of the surgery.
Upon arrival, I was called to a room where I met two young ladies. One sitted behind a surgical bed and the other immediately after the door. I became confused as to who was going to take me through the procedure because I was really concern about my safety. I was given instruction to remove my underwear which I did. I asked the ladies if I'll be sedated and one replied yes. The procedure began at exactly 12:00 noon. The pain I felt was as if I wasn't given any sedative at all. As the procedure continued the pain became so intense and unbearable. I cried and wailed but all I could hear was conversations going on between these two young ladies about going to Accra Mall after work. Until I couldn't bear anymore, I laid my legs flat on the bed. Then the young lady performing the surgery became mad. Threatening me she is going to leave part of the embryo in my uterus if I won't comply. I wailed and pleaded, telling them I was feeling an intense pain in my abdomen. But she didn't care, she kept on scooping and scooping my uterus. I became weaker and weaker in my limbs. For about 20 minutes I was still on the surgical bed and the terrible ladies were still on me torturing me.
Finally she asked me to get down and walk to an opposite room to rest. I couldn't even stand on my feet. Then she said, you will go home and definitely you are going to came back again since you refused to comply. I crawled out of the room because all that I wanted to do was to get out of the room.
I met my husband and didn't tell him how terrible the whole thing went because he would have fused on them. I told him after we went home and he took me to see a gyaenacologist the following day.
Am still battling with abdominal, back and hip pains. I think, the surgical team at Ashiaman needs proper training because they lack professionalism.
