It is one of the best tertiary institutions in Ghana offering TVET programs. It comprises of several faculties in Teacher Education and there's more development project going on currently and so by the next few years it will be one of the finest institution in West Africa.

It's a wonderful school with all the amenities.

The Akenten Appiah-Menka University of Skills Training and Entrepreneurial Development (AAMUSTED), was established on August 27, 2020, under Act 1026 of 2020 of the Parliament of the Republic of Ghana.

AAMUSTED was formed from the College of Technology Education, Kumasi (COLTEK) and the College of Agriculture Education (CAGRIC), Asante-Mampong, which were campuses of the University of Education, Winneba.

The University traces its history to the evolution of COLTEK and CAGRIC. COLTEK started as a Technical Teachers College (TTC) in 1966 and later metamorphosed into the Kumasi Advanced Technical Teachers College (KATTC) in 1978.

The College of Agriculture Education on the other hand, evolved from the St. Andrews Training College, Akropong-Akwapim in the Eastern Region, which was established in 1946 by the Presbyterian Church of Ghana (PCG) and the Scottish Mission.

The KATTC and the St. Andrews Training College were part of the seven (7) Diploma-Awarding Institutions which were amalgamated to form the University College of Education, Winneba (UCEW) by PNDC Law 322, in 1992.

UCEW was weaned from the University of Cape Coast and became an autonomous University in 2004, under Act 672 of the Parliament of the Republic of Ghana.

You don't have to worry about a HEAVEN ON EARTH institution to attend. Best of infrastructure and many other kinds under construction. Highly recommended but there's more to be done. Stop putting your students through stress

A very peaceful, secure environment to study. I was on this campus for 4 years and it's one of the most secured campuses.

A TVET bàsed university established to train young minds for national and global development. It is the best location for all forms of TVET education courses in the West African region. It's boast of up to date laboratories for teaching and learning hands on activities.

The environment is cool and conducive for learning

Excellent institution for anyone who want to develop his/her skills in a tertiary. I employ the person to choose no other university but Akenten Appiah-Menka University of Skills and Entrepreneurial Development (AAMUSTED). That person will never regret it for making such a choice.

The campus has a serene environment suitable for studies. There are so many trees with benches right underneath them for studying and other recreational purposes. The hostels are quite spacious and comfortable. And the classrooms are just great. There is a canteen where you can get all sorts of foods and fruits. The school is nice.

Really, I'm highly impressed to be found on this campus. The school environment is really conducive for learning. The school atmosphere is not biased. it accepts all either foreign or local irrespective of tribe. Joins us now & enjoy this harmonious atmosphere. 5star

This is a university institution which is noted to have a well organised lecture halls, hostel facilities, Canteen with all kinds of foods, stationery and printing shops, car parking, banking Hall with ATM services and conducive environment with summer hats and in all good layout roads.

The stream and the trees around the faculty area make learning fun.
The campus is neat and large.spacious car parking lot. Some mini shopping mall.
Just a nice place to be.

It's one of the young but vibrant universities in the country. I loved their course structure and lecturer-student relationship.

I equally loved how the student populace especially, how the SRC fight for the students in deserving issues.

It is my prayer this new University become one of the most famous in the country.

Best Education School so far

The place soon cool and i feel comfortable when doing lectures. I personally can do alot by myself in terms of speaking of the English language, teaching the younger and also thinking critically too. Am proud that am already enroll in AAMUSTED. Thanks for everything and for ever.
